I really have a feeling once phase 4 and the actual endgame comes out there will be plenty to do currently the only thing to do in phase 3 is to prep for phase 4 if you are into that
i have fallen back into Hardcore. SOD was fun in the beginning but then I felt everything turning into a sweaty grind fest. I’m hardcore it seems people actually care and help each other and has a ton of cool mmorpg moments. SOD feels like more of the same. Get your bis items or don’t join group.
Yeah, I do feel that is an issue. I also feel like the community has definitely evolved drastically from what it used to be back in 2004-2010 Now its "I want to Raid log but also i don't want a difficult raid and I want good parses" instead of just doing dungeons with your buddies I do believe level capping kinda killed SoD it was a cool idea but ultimately hurt it. I do feel once 60 comes out it will be a more complete experience for everyone
Loved SOD. But the economy is so far beyond saving now. People have thousands of gold. I had 15k when I stopped playing from incursions and consume selling. Lvl 60 is already doomed
p1 was good p2 was ait, now with p3 and 4 were gonna end up doing wrath numbers of damage, the balacing will fall even further behind. back in the day you did raid to get gear for pvp, now that pvp doesnt exist you just get gear and thats it. theres no point to it anymore, just repetitive reclears over and over again. id rather play cata
I've been playing SoD since the launch and was loving it but Nighmare Incursions made the game dead i think. You can spam gold with it all the time and it fucks up the economy. Leveling just doing that is also a pain in the ass. So boring. Another downside is that Sunken Temple loot is not a big game changer especially for casters. Just bad upgrades. Now I don't even wanna log in the game for just 2 skill power upgrade (if it drops)
Yeah, I definitely feel that the raidloot was pretty lackluster, but I do find it more enjoyable than Gnomer. The gear upgrades are just not that big, and I feel that once 60 comes out, a lot of issues will be fixed.
I play SoD once a week to raid and I must say it's dying. All of my friends quit and I'm trying really hard not to quit myself.

SoD got boring after p1. Im sorry but it kinda blows.
I do recommend if you have quit come back when phase 4 drops alot of stuff to do in base game lvl 60 plus whatever they end up adding in Sod
