    Great drill, I was very quick in transition and followed this drill, starting the downswing feeling like it was super slow , I felt much more in control and my 7 iron has gone from 140 average carry to 165 average. It’s a game changer.

    Just watched this. Absolutely brilliant.
    So much so, I've started a daily 1-200 swings, practicing just this while recording myself from both side and front. I'll upload them to my private stash and will review them as I go along. Even after just 1 day, I can already see my swing looking a thousand times better!! I don't care about speed distance or where the ball goes at this stage. I'll worry about that next month once I've had a load of time to practice the motion and ingrain how it feels. The ball striking and distance will come as part of how free I feel the swing is after the practice. Thanks Larry, all the best.

    I am an old person, you have given me my best chance to play the game and really make consistent and rewarding shots, thanks.

    A fantastic video breaking down the trickiest part of the golf swing, really helpful for all players of all levels.
    I constantly post your videos to the lads in the scratch team whatsapp group, we all reap the benefits so a big thank you once again Larry from across the pond. 👍

    Larry, this was the game changer for me! I don’t know how it happened but i sure am glad that it did. Everything seems to be falling in place. It’s been too long since golf has been fun. Thank you!!

    Nice! Just what I need to keep ramping up my swing speed.

    Very good advice Larry. I feel like good tempo will help keep the arms and club behind you as well.

    Matt Wolff would approve of this lesson! And thank you for not asking me to subscribe and mash the like button (I already did).

    I was really trying to whip a Rahm type of hip to 8oclock at the range yesterday. Fast whip motion wasn't working so told myself to still focuse on that 8oclock but do in a more controlled and smooth idk a slow whip. Is your head suppposed to drop that much during your move?

    I was in the simulator the other day and had a HORRIBLE round, absolutely horrible. I shot 110 and I’m usually in the high 80s. Went to the basement and replayed your initial videos about your swing “system” while getting back to basics with practice. Did this for a week at an hour a day. Went back to the simulator for a second round and dropped 35 strokes. I know, I know...you may call bs but it’s the truth. As long as I stay within the concept of your technique I do well, when I get lazy or try to over swing I do poorly.

    Larry what percent effort do you feel when you start the downswing?

    • @LarryCheungGolf
      @LarryCheungGolf  3 года назад +1

      depends on how hard I want to hit it =)

    When you say rip the ground with your feet are you pushing your left foot forward and right foot back or are you more twisting your back foot to make your hips turn more?

    • @Brooks_Cupcake
      @Brooks_Cupcake 3 года назад

      Your feet don’t turn your hips, it’s part of your kinematic sequence

      he has a video to display specifically how using a piece of cardboard but he is trying to feel like he is twisting his trail foot clockwise which in turn moves his hips counterclockwise (RH).

    This one really resonates with me, especially with the driver. Sounds so simple in theory but so difficult to implement.

      try and see how it goes, hard to say how you should do this without seeing how you swing lol =)

    Good advice but you never ever show us a full swing, just half speed stuff every video

    • @LarryCheungGolf

      i'm introducing concepts, and for most golfers, they need to learn it at partial speeds, that is why most of my videos are done at partial speed =)
