It easily trumps lethal weapon and the stakes are so much damn higher. This movie is a masterpiece, 1 of the greatest movies ever, and I'm so glad ot has remained a stand alone or solo as no sequel is needed at all.

Don't forget the movie cobra starring Stallone that movie was awesome too though the villain in cobra was slightly overdramatized it was still a great action movie.

Excellent theme to a excellent Action Buddy Cops movie. This used most all action tropes for 80s Action movies including 1 liners, a high amount of Bad Guys before the Big Bad, a simple Big Bad charismatic Villain, explosions, a babe, etc.
