@@colinbell567 It's called by a variation of titles; new wave, alternative, gothic dark synthwave. You can plug in any of those in a search and you'll get something like this. It's such a perfect setlist! Congratz. I'm glad to know there are brand new artists around the world making this kind of sound. I've got my own electronic project named "Dressed in Black", our tracks are "Haunted by the Past" and "Fetish". We've created the songs and the art involved remotely due the pandemic. And, yes, it was made using mobile phones and home music production. Cheers from Brazil!!

This genre had it's origins in the late 70's during the "anti-disco" movement with what was called "new wave" because it came across the Atlantic from Western Europe. Bands like "The Cure", "New Order", and "The Smiths (Morrisey)" were among the more popular but it certainly doesn't diminish the awesome quality of these lesser known artists.
Lots of good came from Disco. Started the New Wave which lead to Dark Wave, Synth Wave.. Punk movement which lead to Post Punk.. gave birth to other genres as we progressed into the 80's..
