Thank you for uploading this video!! You’re one of the only people here on RUclips who properly explains and shows how to apply different products and include which ones are suitable for specific skin types I really appreciate these videos you post ❤
Thank you for your input! Sticks should be the best for re-applying sunscreen. Spray tend not to cover the entire surface and to be patchy. Also you need to tell us what you used on your lips
The skin 1004 sunscreen is soo good!! It’s the only sunscreen that doesn’t leave an oily residue behind and entirely absorbs into my skin. Highly recommend it even in the summer for oily skin.
I've always wanted to try korean sunscreens, thank you for this great guide Haley :) Btw, you can also reapply sunscreen with a spray sunscreen, that's what I do and it doesn't ruin my makeup. The point is to find one that doesn't burn your eyes and don't spray it too close to your face.
I have one Korean stick called Miguhara Daily Herb Sun Stick. It has both SPF and PA++++, has semi-matte finish, a bit sticky but not too much, doesn't clog pores and has very nice herbal smell. I have combination oily skin so this stick helps me a lot during this summer. This stick also hydrates a bit so you can apply your moisturizer before the sun stick and they will match.
I really appreciate this video! I don’t wear much makeup but I never knew what to do if I had makeup on and I needed to reapply sunscreen on top. Thanks!
I always wondered if reapplying sunscreen over and over would lead to breakouts, especially after going out in a dusty environment. What would you suggest then?
The first step to prevent breakouts is to cleanse the surface of your skin with a toner pad or a cotton pad soaked in toner or a watery essence! I understand that it can be challenging to do this outside, but it's worth a try if it continues to cause breakouts. Personally, I find it convenient to carry a clean cotton pad and a travel-sized toner in a mini zip-lock bag!
The photo!!! 😮 Im a driver for medical emergencies, and I know the sun going through the glass is magnefied. I use hats every time the sun is out or even when it's just bright!!! I also avoid the sun hitting my hands. It does not complitelly protect me, but helps a lot!! ❤ Thanks for the amaizing video!!!
It's so helpful! I was looking for non oily sunscreen stick, tocobo one has caught my eye too but not many people talked about it so I'm glad I can use it ^^
For me, it's challenging to achieve an adequate coating on my skin or determine if I've applied enough sunscreen. I have found that using sunscreen spray is more ideal for reapplying sunscreen on my body after ensuring I have evenly covered it with lotion sunscreen!
Haley I have also the question about this season, how should we preserve makeup against sweating and water? Is there any summer-friendly makeup look for common days?
Thank you for all your videos! They are the best. Which of these sunscreens are mineral based? Could you please make a video on the best mineral based sunscreens for under and over makeup? Thank you!!!
Biore used to have spray sunscreen. I used to be so religious with it and apply it every 3-4 hrs when i worked in an office. I just do it once a day now wfh.
Hey haley, my question is different from this video... Can you pls tell me how to make my makeup look glossy and smooth because whenever i use fit me liquid foundation it looks patchy and rough.... 😢
Liquid foundation is typically comedogenic and drugstore brands, even more so. If you can find your shade in a good quality cream, powder, mineral (see Alima Pure for good formula), and serum foundations. Oftentimes spot-concealing, and color correcting instead is better for some people. Use that works for you, adjust when it doesn't work.
I have a question when I apply face oil control powder the one from nyx will it be erased if I apply the sunscreen stick on top I'm a bit confused.... I observed that my blush abd face powder gets a bit erased after I use the sunscreen stick is it OK if I reapply it after using the sunscreen stick
Thank you for always providing useful information! Do you know any makeup techique that can give lifting effect without foundation? I saw some channels suggest to use concealers as highlighter with foundation but i really am just a beginner and dont like to use foundation.
stick SPF gives you almost ZERO protection, it's a gimmick that doesn't work. you need to repeat the application around 30 times to get the protection you need which isn't really doable.
i have a question. whenever i apply my skincare after a while when i touch my face it kinda flakes off. my hands are often covered in jelly like “bits” and i’m not sure if it’s my products reacting to each other or if it’s dead skin coming off. my skin isn’t irritated afterwards at all and after i wash my face to get the bits off my face is very soft but if i apply make up on top, my foundation is very patchy and applying only causes more of those bits because of my hand and make up tools touching my face. what am i doing wrong?:(
You either are not using the right products for your skin type, or you don't let your sunscreen absorb into your skin for at least 15 minutes before applying make-up
@@andacatco8058 i have very dry skin and use products to help hydrate my skin and exfoliate. even without any make up on i get bits that feel kinda like jelly whenever i touch my face and i don’t know what it is. this counts for both with and without sunscreen
It must be because of the products you use before sunscreen. They react together. My face oil used to come off in bits whenever I apply it over a specific product.
@@sierravienna9689 do you exfoliate every day? If it's the case, that might be the reason. If not, the only thing that occurs to me is that the products you use don't match or don't absorb well. There are ingredients which don't match.
@@andacatco8058 i only exfoliate once a week and the products are from the same brand and we’re matched to me at a consultation with someone from the brand. i really did my research haha but i can’t figure out what’s wrong with this
Hi Haley! Have you tried Numbuzin No. 1 sunscreen? And Biore watery sunscreen? If yes, please give your thoughts as im not sure whether to buy and which one.
I heard that sun sticks require lots and lots of rubs before they give the protection specified on the packaging,,is there any way to apply liquid sunscreen over make up?😭
Hi! Do you know if there are nice non-chemical sunscreen options? Maybe I didn't understand it, but I don't know if all the ones you're showing us are all quimical. Thank you in advance, love your videos!! 🥰
The best solution to reapplication of sunscreen is to make your skin good enough to not needing a foundation.. Physical sunscreen do leave a white cast, but after a while it gets adjusted to skin. If you have a dark skin, you can mix a drop of foundation in sunscreen every time you apply it.. I use physical sunscreen, then to prevent grease and shine, I apply a very fine powder over it. This method works for me..
The hardest part is always reapplying over makeup 😭
I know right! But hope these tips are helpful 🥹
The Korean sunsticks are so good!!! Beauty of joseon, Isntree, Etc!!! My staples and they mattify me as well.

Hi Haley. What do you mean by toner, is it the same as micellar water?
@@rabiatinmarisa9584 No, they are different products. A toner balances the skin. Micellar is more a cleaning product. Google for details.
