This is beyond excellent for two reasons: 1. Any Rufus Thomas performance is excellent, and he only got better with age, and 2. I get an extra dose of happiness just imaging how much these six minutes tortured all those people in the crowd, screaming all day and night for 1/2 Zep + a bloated Jimmy Page clone. What a brilliant penultimate act to this show.
Baby's back, dressed in black, Silver buttons all down her back. High, low, tipsy toe, She broke a needle and she can't sew. Walkin' the dog, Just walkin' the dog. If you don't know how to do it, I'll show you how to walk te dog. Asked a fellow for fifteen cents, See the fellow he jumped the fence. Jumped so high he touched the sky, Never got back till the fourth of July. Walkin' the dog, Just walkin' the dog. If you don't know how to do it, I'll show you how to walk the dog.Writer/s: RUFUS THOMAS
This was my favorite part of this whole show. His happiness just radiated. And that's a great song. RIP Mr. Thomas
Played at every house party. This was the song to go too. Get the party started!😂❤🎉
Really enjoyed
Get up and walk the Dog.
I was a teenager when Rufus made this song

Marc, I remember the concert. Rufus made Zeppelin anti-climactic.
