Yes brunei adalah salah satu tempat untuk relax.
Beruk pun boring
I'm a Malaysian living in Brunei for almost 15 years now, I love it here because it's really peaceful!
Brunei Darussalam means abode of peace that’s why Brunei is very peaceful
Brunei is a peaceful country. If you looking for party drinking and all then it is not the place. Though you will love this country if you became tired of hustle/busiest life.
Every destination has its unique things and customs - advantages and disadvantages - I also quite enjoyed Brunei. Especially the Jungle and Sunsets

Only boring people will get bored 😁😁 I went there fee months ago and the trip was memorable.
I am a Bruneian and I love my country
@@FarellandSheila Its boring if you believe others saying that - or its really interesting if you are willing to do a little bit of research just like I did. Brunei is more than only Bandar Seri Begawan, thats what many people forget.
@@FarellandSheila same goes for my trips to Brunei :D hehe - im glad u had fun there
Brunei is very different from others, because the country is managed in an interesting way.
The life here is very relaxing, good healthcare is provided, generally people with heart problems are treated in Gleneagles and its free, gives you an idea. Theres no tax. Education is free and if you study in Uni the gov provides monthly allowance. The car petrol is pretty much the same price as it was in 1980s. The rice is subsidized. The gov will never let u sleep on the street, will give u a home. The population is well dispersed into several major housing areas with car ownership ratio a car to a person. Most ppl have satelite tv and everyone has smartphone and access to youtube and facebook. Theres no traffic jam and many commute between work n home less than 30 mins. The gov is really protective when it comes to the rainforest like 70% of the country must stays green. Many often shops abroad. Etc. On negative side, it can be boring because we dont hv concerts etc.
But the Sultan is the most loving. In one event where the Sultan was the guest , a small boy of 5 or 6 yr old pulled the hand of the sultan, and said 'sultan are you not visiting our home?' And guess what the sultan actually went to visit the boy's home. Hes too loving, he will not let you starve.
Thats a great comment.. Being a Bruneian, theres always something to do even though its a bit different than what you would do in other countries
I was working in Brunei for 25 years from 1994 to -2019.. I love this country and i felt brunei was my second home. The people are very friendly and they are not bothered about anything and enjoy their life and thidapa policy people. I really miss Brunei darussalam 😣
Yes its pretty amazing seeing how this country is filled with lots of friendly people.

I like your positivity! No doubt Bandar Seri Begawan is the most sleepiest capital around the region, but that is what makes it unique. A good place to runaway from the hustle and bustle of a megacity. Hopefully next time you'll get to explore to Temburong. Do give me a buzz if you decide to :)

@@marul69 sure, sounds like a plan, i am planning for a revisit soon this year, maybe we could meet up for a coffee and you show me more of your lovely country, i will see more with a local guide compared to me walking all by myself.
Heeeey, my family and I lived in brunei in 1980s to early 2000 and I must say Brunei is actually an interesting place and very rich in culture. It used to be a marshy land and Brunei is lucky that oil was discovered and that's how that country became rich. And I agree that the citizens there are so blessed because they have a kind Sultan who takes care of them. I love your vlog! Hope you visit the PHilippines :)

Brunei seems like a chill and slow pace country unlike Singapore. Definitely worth visiting to escape from the hustle and bustle of Singapore's busy daily lifestyle.

I'm from Brunei! /aku harah Brunei!
I've been watching a lot of videos of good reviews about Brunei. And I really feel good about it. I'm proud that Brunei is being loved by the tourists. 😍
I've been living in Malaysia for 2 years now (balik Brunei jugak sometimes hahaha). I really have no problem with Malaysia, but I just miss being in Brunei. Hope I can go back home for this coming semester break! So close yet so far 😣
Anyways, I love your video! Thank you for reviewing Brunei! Hope you enjoyed your stay there and please come back for more! 😍
This is my first time watching your video because it came out from my newsfeed and at first I thought you are Filipinos, thn in the video, when you said ‘jaga diri bang’ I was like woahh... are you Malaysian? (Btw nice video! Thank you for introducing Brunei with the positive vibes!)
Brunei is not boring.. The people here both local and foreigners are well disciplined
Thumbs up to me guys😬
Yes, but I think that is not what makes Brunei specially interesting. Bruneis Beauty is more than only that: Sunsets, intact rainforest, masterpiece mosques, beaches, food and its friendly people!
DjemoGraphic scenery is natural, infrastructure are just the icing on the cake.. Disciple and attitude of the inhabitants is the main thing... You can go anywhere around the world and see the sights but if the people are rude and undisplined will you come back?
@@bluehaze6132 I am not disagreeing with you. I do agree with you. Bruneians are indeed very heartwarming, super friendly and very generous and hospitable :) I just say, in addition to that, Brunei has a very beautiful rainforest, floating village, good food, amazing mosques and wonderful sunsets. Its all together that makes it very lovely to visit: Place+Nature+People
Of course, unfriendly people is a strong reason to not re-visit a place. And my future Brunei trips will be to a large part because of my Bruneian friends, which I am very happy to meet again.
@@bluehaze6132 By the way, if you are interested to see Brunei from my point of view. I made a video about the best 6 things to see. I do have to say, Brunei is a very underrated country. And I am very much looking forward to come back soon!
Hello,Thank You for making this video! This is the prove for people out there who said or thought Brunei is boring whatsoever, well some of them never went to Brunei either.😂 Btw I'm Bruneian and Thank you for choosing Brunei as your travel destination,we do APPRECIATE IT!! Thank you once again!
Brunei is very underrated. I found it way more interesting than what people say! Especially theres much eco tourism sites for being such a small country!
It looks like a nice country to live in, I am an IT student living in a poor war torn country called Yemen, Unemplyment is really high here and even if you got a job you will get a salary that can't pay half the rent.
Hopefully when I graduate I will search for a job in Brunei and live in this nice peaceful country.
Brunei would be a better place to stay. Peaceful. I wish you all the best in life, stay patient, great things are coming your way. 🙂👊
I'm from Brunei and I love it here! There's loads of places to go and things to eat (such as ambuyat!)

Thank u for sharing your experiences😊
Nice video farrel!!😁 what I can see from the video most of the tourist come to brunei travel alone and arrive brunei during day time. At this time, we in brunei are working from 8am to 5pm thats why in the city there are not all people walking around in the city. Later at 5pm until mid nite it is nice you can go to gadong market, there is alot of foods you can purchase. Than it is recommended to visit to jerudong park during weekends later at 5pm as the playground start at 5pm. Thank you for visiting brunei!! 🇧🇳🇧🇳
Thank you for visiting and making this video. Although I am a Filipino, Brunei is my home AHAHAHA

None. The country is not congested nor overcrowded like the philippines or Vietnam, very quite and slow moving. Its more of a peaceful place to travel

Bandar Seri Begawan is very quiet now compare to new place where there are so much new buildung and shopping centre everywhere now if you want to see many people i suggest you to go to Gadong, Times Square and Jerudong Park there is where mostly bruneian go. Im brunei local between even myself doesnt really go to our city anymore
True, even me myself i hardly hang out in the main centre. But yeah brunei is a quite country very unique compared to other cities always bustling.

I lived in BSB back in the 1970's. They had just gotten color TV and the 'new' airport had just taken over the 'old' airport. Loved muara, driving to Seria, playing golf in Panaga, Pantai Mentiri, etc. And of course, the old swimming pool, which was managed by Mr. Kwan.
listen i now really think people can't get out of the house whithout a permission cause its 10th video where bruney it's all empty so for explorin maybe it's good but all alone i don't think so that is so memorable, or no ???

i would too, especially with all the privilege the country has to offer. it is an amazing country to also travel.
Thanks we really appreciate it bc brunei is very poor population
I have been there. Because you need to present an onward air ticket to be allowed to enter, I had to determine the length of my stay in advance. I choosed around two weeks, because my mindset was: boring? Its what you make out of it. And two weeks is normally a good time to collect some impressions of a country. I met pretty cool locals there. But in the end I passed my days in a cybercafe. There is really not that much to do.....

Brunei Darussalam is definitely a beautiful country, even though a lot of people might say its boring, but Brunei's got a lot of amazing places that you can go to, having fun doesn't mean that you go to a country expecting to have all the entertainment it can offer, no. For me having fun is when you enjoy your time visiting a country knowing that it has a lot of friendly people, amazing places and most of all, their lovely food. And for Brunei's case, Brunei has got a lot of interesting places of interest for the adventurous people out there, such as of course, the capital city, Bandar Seri Begawan along with all the mosques and Kampong Ayer, but thats not all, Brunei has a lot of malls that always have events like The Mall, Times Square, and so much more. Every Sunday we have this event called "BandarKu Ceria" and basically this event uses the capital city as a location for people to get together, with friends and families, thousands and thousands of people come every week to enjoy their week end, play games, ride bikes, eat food and so much more! For those who loves to venture out for Brunei's food, they can go to so many places like the Gadong, Kiulap and Serusop area, these places have a lot of shops and malls nearby, not to mention even restaurants, there is even the very famous "Pasar Gadong" (often called Pasar Malam Gadong or Gadong Night Market) which is located near The Mall in Gadong that focuses on selling food. Yes, lots of vendors sell different kinds of food for those people who wants to try out delicious food. Lastly for entertainment, Brunei has got a lot of malls and movie places for those who just wanna rest and relax while watching a movie, and theres Jerudong Park for those who want to really have a blast playing games and rides with their families and friends, what I like about Jerudong Park is that not only do they have fun and amazing rides there, but they also have tons of amazing food nearby! Definitely a must go for people who come to Brunei. Not to mention that honestly, Brunei's beaches are really beautiful, especially the one near the Empire Hotel and Country Club, people can go there and relax, have a picnic and spend time taking pictures there, Empire has a lot of amazing surprises when you visit them, be sure to go there, i really recommend going to Empire! Well, that's it from me i guess, theres just too much to tell about Brunei, so people from other places, please spread the news that Brunei is not boring, in fact, Brunei is a lovely country full of amazing surprises that you won't expect! (Psst, come to Bandar Seri Begawan on Sundays before 6:30AM, you'll have a blast there!)
Sorry for the long comment, I just love explaining the beauty of Brunei to others!

What about the costing there? I could see from your video, it is quite cheap really. What abour car rental? Easy to get around. Brunei is quite small right.. Perhaps reason why they say its boring bcoz u pretty much covered all the places in short time. But its good for relaxing n to those that enjoy peace n nature. Citylovers? of course they will find it boring. The scenery looks like u travel back in time to 70s i would say. I mean the colour n the building, houses.. Give me tge 70s vibe
