I am 19 and I as Indian went to every State of India but still every city to city and village to village are different region, wonderful cultures and Architecture you will get to see, Even in Languages and food also.

When an Indian say we support Russia,he means USSR...and not today's Russia....just to give you the context..in 1971 Indo-Pak war whole western society was against us and only USSR came to stand with us.

There is also economic/ecological reason traditionally .. Cow gives dairy products .. Cow was used in transportation/farming activity .. Cow dung/ur!ned was directly/indirectly used for various things like fertilizer/fuel/medicine/etc

India doesn't have a National language , it has 22 official languages , English and Hindi is the official language of the Cental Goverment. Every state has their own language and usually use english as the second official language to make things easier for freedom of movement for Indians within India.
