the lead singer looks like an interesting character with an amazing sidequest on a western RPG!!
Give praise to the singing spaghetti monster and the groove of his guitar!
R'amen!
Spaghetti monster like True Detective?!
Singing floor mop....very nice!
These are the kinds of songs I love. So many layers of influence, so much happening lyrically instrumentally, you can listen to it over and over and get new stuff every time.
I bought the album because of this performance. I was not disappointed
This is such a good song I'm getting the album as soon as possible.
The live versions are so much better then the recorded versions.
He has that typical, deep and warm country voice. Nice!
Sounds like a joy division song put on a cowboy hat and snuck it’s way into a willie Nelson best hits cd
Goddamn perfect analogy
Sisters of mercy meets Roy Orbison
PONY is my album of the year and I’m gonna be listening to it for a very long time.
Physically cannot stop watching this video. Spellbound.
Sounds like if the Cure played Country music with Robert Smith doing an impression of Chris Isaak or Johnny Cash.
Most definitely. You can actually whistle the guitar riff from Just Like Heaven with this song and it fits nicely
Yeah
I'm actually thinking Morrissey
Roy Orbison
I burned up Disintegration as a teen. Maybe that's why I'm so drawn to OP
Sounds like new order with elvis as their front man
Never heard of this band. Glad I clicked.
This version can never get old. Listening to it constantly.
There are no words.....that voice!!!!!!
Great cliche
Thank you Lampshade for your wonderful country indie
I'm at work and I'm about to cry because this is to much. But this song saved me from tears.
Thank you really
I felt this for you. I hope things are better
don't let my sorrow turn to hate is just so powerful (edit: and moving and beautiful)
And again. I'm really beginning to feel bad for bothering you at this point. But it's an excellent song, so i'm not that sorry
no!!! please don't ever feel bad about this! i can't even begin to explain how much, and call this a cliche, these youtube "meetings" make me feel happy and lucky to know that there is someone who cares for leaving an answer to my silly shouts to the void and who listens and love the music that i do. it may sound funny, but in brings back some kind of meaning to everything ahahh when im feeling down. so please don't ever stop doing this! i won't! (it won't ever stop being awesome and i won't as in if i see your comments somewhere sometime, ill be sure to say hello)
@@Koshirozation cliche or not, i feel the same (a cliche in itself, but who cares anymore)
I love music, it's the closest i ever get to feel connected to something in the simplest way possible, and to be able to share this experience with another person, randomly, by chance, just makes it better. See you next time
This exchange made my heart happy
That's great, thanks Orville Peck and KEXP !!
Props for the obvious Matt Johnson and Peter Murphy influence!!!
The the.
what a fantastic song
You know what.? I think he sounds like him! Keep fucking being you Orville n gorgeous band
everyone wishes they had that voice
YEEEEEE HAAAW
I like the mystery
Still a classic
VERY interesting!
Really nice
LOVE
heard the cover by bully before i heard this and pref the cover by bully a lot more than this
Elvis?
🌬✨
Where can I get the scorpion shirt the drummer is wearing?
Sounds like new order with elvis as their front man
Orville and Lana need to collaborate
Dead Elvis has been deceased now for more than 40 years...so why'd anybody ever want to see his face in 2021? Survey says: KEEP THE MASK ON ELVIS! But sing to your heart's content.
Quentin Tarantino in music form.
didn't know Saoirse Ronan played in a country band
Spock "It's country but not as we know it Jim"................check out Bully's version it also wonderful. ruclips.net/video/u1wTp0FQh-c/видео.html
no
How is the rest of the band cool with their front member with half a mop for a face?
Because they make music. And if people are shallow and close-minded enough to cast them away because the frontman has a little showmanship then they probably aren't interested in having them as fans. Musicians make music.
Maybe he cleans up nicely 😀
@@katiestolealltheunicorns9309 he does
because he's already a member of another fairly well-known band in his home country and he'd probably like people to not focus on that when they listen to him
Mop? Ffs
