In this vlog, i attempted to take a boat taxi up the river to visit a few villages but, due to the river being too low i was forced to rent a moped. I want far north of chiang rai and ended up in a small village known as Tha Ton. Situated on the Thai-Myanmar border and very close to Laos this area is known as “ The Golden Triangle” of Asia. I was delighted to met such nice people with great hospitality. I also stumbled upon a village known as the “longneck tribe”. These people came over from Myanmar many years ago and are known to live in the hills of Laos and Thailand. This is what traveling is all about experiencing new cultures!

Awesome video! Can you return a scooter at a scooter place in a different city or do you have to take the scooter back to the same place you rented it from?

Loved seeing the villages and the people that live there. I wonder how many tourists actually visit there in order for them to sell their products for profit.
Yea bro u off beaten path is always fun and u go deep. Also love when u goto the touristy spots too tho. I enjoy both 🤙🏼
