If they have a telling face structure then you could maybe guess it, but Vi's face definitely leans more on the masculine side (not manish or anything like that, just not explicitly feminine looking). Due to that, unless you know who she is or hear her voice you're likely gonna have a hard time telling.

I'm 2 minutes in, but to address that, VI didn't say "it will be our little secret" bcs she planned on selling the stones, but bcs Vander had already said "good, there's nothing to tie you to this" so Vi doesn't want to disappoint him. She plans on hiding it, bcs she doesn't want Vander to be disappointed in her. Or at least, that's how I understood the situation. Also, the 2 kids at the beginning were Vi and Powder, pink and blue, if it looked red was bcs the whole scene was red 🤣🤣 there's no red haired boy here.
Also i don't understand how yall so mad at Vi, calling her "the bad apple" and everything, all of them are kids, Vi doesn't force them to do anything, all of them follow her because she is strong and dependable. Also from all of them, she was the most compelling to me, the angry orphan tired of how unjust, how unfair life is for all of them in Zaun. Also, Jayce's actions are understandable there, his life's work stripped in a second, and banned from the academic capitol with the most resources. If literal enforcers with tons of resources and training couldn't find them, then he definitely won't be able to. Their world has millions of people too, how can you find what's stolen if you barely know where to look? If you've ever been robbed and don't have a camera in sight, then I don't know how you getting your shit back. Plus, he didn't need to track them down as he has other equipment and crystals in the lab taken by Heimerdinger. Lastly, just because someone has strong conviction doesn't mean they don't have slip ups. Most of us, have all had moments where we felt like gaving up, some more than others. In this case, Jayce was effectively and legally cut off from all his passions. It didn't matter in that instance how strong his conviction was, when there's no outlet for said conviction to breathe. Basically, the only way for him to manifest his goals now, is to do it illegally. So, it makes sense why he feels he has nothing to live for anymore.

I think the bad guy just had the blond investigate because they heard about the explosion, he didn't have anything to do with it nor any knowledge of it, he just heard there was a big explosion in a heist and send someone to get Intel about it.
Seems like y’all have deeply misunderstood VI’s character from the jump, up to this point. She’s a hothead and full of anger (seeing your parents’ dead bodies on a bridge will do that) but she’s also 100% a leader and possessed of responsibility and guilt. That’s why Vander handles her the way he does with his talks with her and stuff - he sees it in her, too, and he’s trying to teach her the right way to lead. And she’s learning.

am I the only one who absolutely loathe Heimerdinger? Seriously, I do, almost more than I loathe Dumbledore. one is blinded by fear from the past, the other obsessed by 'the greater good'.
The past of magic is really bad though, one of the many problems, however, is Heimerdinger is not good on politics and administration so the way he executes his points are not that effective.
Well considering that he was alive for the rune wars it’s understandable. There’s literally entire nations founded on the complete and utter destruction of magic like Demacia because of it. Imagine the Cold War but everyone had nukes and they just started spamming nukes around the entire planet. That was the rune wars.
If you ever read lore you would easily understand where Heimer is coming from. Makes sense too tho, humans with magic in their hands are bound to be destructive.
Love how VI was willing to turn herself in at the end. A real one meanwhile Powder I genuinely dislike her. She keeps ruining things and has a child-like mentality which is totally normal lol considering she is a kid but I just hate that. I prefer a tough and more mature character like Vi.
