I personally would put the Compys higher by one reason alone. Of all the tiny dinosaurs (this, Moros, Sinosauropteryx), it’s the fastest on foot. My biggest issue with the tiny dinosaurs is how slow their walking speed is and how quickly their hunger and thirst drops, because they’re constantly moving between food and water, draining their stamina in the process, and because their walking speed’s so low, this leads to them very quickly getting dehydrated or starving themselves until they either finally get food and water, or die. Meanwhile, Compy’s walking speed is so fast, it can just get to food and water before dehydration or starvation sets in. To put this in perspective, I did a full canon dinosaur sanctuary for every canon dinosaur, and I had to put the Moros on an island (reminders that tiny dinosaurs can’t cross deep water) in the middle of a river with multiple feeders because they kept starving and dehydrating, while the compys actually thrived in the open environment.
I think the thing that shows just how good utahraptor was as a design, was when skeleton crew covered the dlc, and were speechless for a solid 5 minutes upon releasing it into the enclosure.
1:15:25 that's actually so real, I looked over qianzhou a couple times, went "huh that's a really good stylized design" and then have never used it to this day
The main reason Stegoceratops kind of suffers compared to the other hybrids is that it was planned for the first Jurassic world film, eventually being cut out due to it taking some of the limelight away from the indominus, it’s kind of a shame it’s sort of restricted to this design that it never got to use.
1:33:38 Fun fact: Shonisaurus was actually not that gentle. Its teeth indicated that it was much more raptorial than originally believed, and that it could have fed on much larger prey than soft-bodied animals. With that said, I fully agree that this design is nothing short of beautiful. The only issue is that it lacks a dorsal fin, but everything else about it is so good that I'm willing to ignore that.
Seeing Diplotocus so low is understandable, but seeing it so high makes me happy with how it's my favorite dinosaur. Walking with Dinosaurs basically started that love. And with all the talk of Walking with Dinosaurs throughout the video makes me want to create paddocks and exhibits based around the six episodes with two more for Dimetrodon and Lystrosaurus for Walking with Monsters. One small thing about this list is how incredibly low Baryonyx and Ankylosaurus are. But given how they look in-game I can't argue with the reasons why they're so low.
I don’t think if you remember me, but I’m the one who commented on your one screen saying if you wanted to if you were doing any more Jurassic World evolution two videos I’m so happy now now I can just watch two videos instead of watching the one over and over and over again
Seeing my boi the Parasaurolophus in S Tier brings me quite a bit of happiness I love the contrast between the classic - lux and Dominion looks. The lux variants are some of my favorite herbivores; i just hope they also included the Parasaurolophus design from the JW website made by Julius Csotonyi
Normally I only really watch your tf2 content but I love jurassic world and dinosaur in general as well and I love hearing you talk about this stuff its fun
Nooo not my baby Deinon :( I love Bakker’s Basalisk Bastard, the design’s basically THE first (and arguably most important) illustration of deinonychus translated to 3D. Also the crest has jiggle physics.
Okay, hear me out on Monolophosaurus. I was immediately in love when it appeared. All the things you say are true, it looks goofy and ridiculous and has those buggy eyes... buuuuuuuut. That makes it look like a lot of BIRDS, which are truly absurd muppet-beasts. You gotta love the wild-eyed hornbill look.
I just realized that the thing that bugs me about megalosaurus in this game is that it looks far too similar to albertosaurus, like i can't tell them apart sometimes
The Yutyrannus and utahraptor models in this game are a royal flush winning hand against people who think feathered dinos are silly. What beatiful birds
Something that kind of bugs me about the winged dinosaurs is that they don't attach the wing feathers to the fingers which completely disconnects the hands as part of the wings but it's barely noticeable in normal animations and gameplay. It's just something I've noticed when the raptors are hunting, climbing, or fighting. Just a pet peeve of mine, I just want winged dinosaurs to have proper wings and not just "arms with wing feathers disconnected from the hands." Even despite that very minor gripe I have, their designs are perfect.
1:42:02 I agree the cryo are my third favorite looks just like me a dilo and it’s a big carnivore I was happy when they showed the field guide video these guys are awesome
Glad someone else likes the JPE Acro - Its not the best, but it stands out and is one of my fav depictions for my fav dinosaur - also, Alamosaurus is regal - they just look very fancy
I cannot even put into words how much I HATE sauropelta. Trying to make them work in a free-range/wild park is such a nightmare. They get injured and die to literally EVERYTHING
One porblem I have with the JWE2 Corythosaurus it that its jaw is actually angled asymmetrically, and I don't even know if it can fully close its mouth
Reason why why nothosaurus is one of my favorites is just because of hoe cool and unique it looks. I also just loved it in the show. Another reason why is because of a joke that me and my friend made while watching the show. When it was first revealed in the show we didn't quite catch the name. So we just simply started referring to it as the "Poef Monster". (We are Afrikaans btw) And we just couldn't stop laughing.
The Deinonychus is my favorite, aside from the JP3 male raptor Quilliam god tier best ranking in the game and deserves his own ranking. Also spinoraptor is amazing it looks like a plausible animal
I saw the video in my feed and said "If this is a livestream instead of a full video, i'm gonna be a little disappointed" I am not disappointed, quite the opposite
Scorpios Rex is such an ugly design in general. I get that it has a bit of Scorpionfish DNA and a good amount of Carnotaurus mixed in - the latter notably having a _very_ short skull for theropod standards - but it's eyes being so high up and its face being so wide makes it look very ugly. And not monstrous ugly, either, just kind of goofy ugly. Indominus and the Indoraptor also had a monstrous hybrid theme going, and they didn't have to suddenly become pug rexes for it.
The thing is that Bakker-Basilisk Deinon CAN work, but they don’t push the design concept that far at all Also glad I’m not the only one thought Segisaurus was the MOST USELESS pointless. Peloroplites or Teratophoneus would’ve been better choices as while they’re scrapped from JWFK, at least they’re big animals
I think it's best to describe Tarbosaurus as a "Knockoff JP rex" in, the game that literally HAS JP Rex so its like triple-redundant. Tarbosaurus could've been utilized to represent more modern/accurate depictions of a large tyrannosaur like how they utilized Utahraptor as a slot for "Actual Eudromaeosaur" Another thing to note on Velociraptor, the JW design and onward fuck with the amount of teeth it has. In theropod skulls, the teeth *never* go past or below where the eye is, that's where the buccal flap goes and JP, TLW, and JP3 all follow this cause that's how theropod teeth work. The JW screwed with this and made them match the eye level which you cannot unsee.
Ankylosaurus is my favourite Dinosaur but I’m not a fan of the design in this game. Rather than a single large plate like a Tortoise shell I wish it had smaller individual osteoderms.
An hour and 45 minute video yapping about dinosaurs? Count me in!
I personally would put the Compys higher by one reason alone.

dinosaur reskins in jwe2 have always been a strange case to me
On one hand, if you like how a dinosaur fits in the food chain but not how it looks, it's nice to have another option to choose from.
Please let the joke die

For those of you just tuning in:
Yes he really does like dinosaurs this much.

Fuck yeah, Dinautism time!
I feel attacked
I love that, I have severe Dinautism
More fish dinosaur content, the earth is healing
could this be considered bad dinosaur academy?!?
This is the Bad Dinosaur Academy prologue. The ground has been laid, now Fish just has to build.
@@MrShukaku1991 He'll finally tell me how to best utilize the scorpius rex

Bro how is there already a dislike? Who is subbed to your patreon and disliking your videos lmfao.
Might just be the youtube dislike extension not being accurate
Chances are someone just accidentally misclicked it
Someone has money just to be a hater one day early lmfao
A lot of RUclipsrs that aren't tiny tend to dislike their videos to prevent "first dislike lmao" comments.
