Between minute 1 and 2. You got me. I'm there right now. Worked 1 hour and made half my check for a week (had a blast climbing and just getting it done!). I keep scratching my head wondering why I'm working for the man? Thank you for encouraging comments and always sharing your heart. It goes a longer way than you think.
Great to see you on the picks again Buckin’. You continue to inspire us younger tree guys doing their own thing. You gave me guidance in a time when I had none. Stay safe friend.
Way to kick-butt on the anniversary of your injury! You're climbing & looking like a 40 year old man 💪 I'm terrified of heights, but love when you take us climbing!! Sooo proud of our local boys at RIPSAW!👍
Great Video Buckin. That 201 with the Buckin Muffler from Rip Saws ripping through that Tree. Thanks for showing us your Cuts ,and teaching no Back Baring for those new to Tree work. Learned alot, and deeply appreciated. Wish I could handle my 201 like that.
Good morning Buckin Billy, GREAT video, soo glad 😊 you're nailing it. The saw is nothing short of WOW. Glad you are here today and sharing this with us. Love you and love to all.
You make the climbing look so easy, ,and I know it takes a lot of skill to do what you do. The Ripsaw 201 is awesome. It made easy work of most of that tree. I like hearing your though process when you were cutting the limbs. Wind, powerline maple tree right next to Fir ect.. Thank you for taking us on this journey. I can't wait till you fire up the 572. Of course, you will have to add a pipe. Love what you do. Take care. Thanks Ripsaw!!!!
It’s so nice having a clear drop zone. I’ve been rigging out over structures all week. Brutal but still love it. Nice to see you back on the picks. You inspired me back in 2019 to give tree climbing a go. Now, 4 years later I am an above the board tree service company doing actual work.. So amazing. Thanks Buckin.
Your the man BUCKIN! Watching everyday for whatever video you put out. As I told you before, coming up on 69 years old, dealing with the aftermath of renal cancer, chemotherapy, etc. had to give up the climbing, but I appreciate what you are teaching the new, and young folks! Like you, I was old school climbing without all the new equipment that is used these days. Want to send my 200’s to Ripsaw, just for the fun of it. My ms660 is ported, so my 2 ms 200’s will be going to Ripsaw in the future! I still cut and choose what I do, but my 200’s are little beasts! Love you Buckin. Stay safe! Ronnie, East Tennessee, USA
Man you told my story at the top of this video I’m just a man and my saw bundling up my first bits of firewood now I could cry man it feels like a dream come true I found the cheat code
Hallo Big Bill , I am that young guy making firewood with my pickup in south Africa (Karoo Doring) i bought myself a husqvarna 130 and I'm loving it !! I'm starting to love engines more and what you said in the beginig of you're video is verry true ,we shall crall before we walk
Impressive tree work. I could never do that. Afraid of heights. Don't want to die by gravity. All kinds of reasons. But I love swinging an axe. Keep it up Buckin'!
been a minute but getting ready to enjoy the vid and just want to say 17 years ago the good lord let all of us keep Buckin' Billy Ray!!!!! more so your Family.... stay kicking BUT Buckin.. tell next time. Edit: lesson learned for the day " inside the collar for MAX HOLD." learning something new every day Friends..
THATS ALLYOU GOT? RAY! YOU have taught me more in every single "tutorial video" you put out and may already saved my life by not doing something i hadnt thought about.
Most interesting ! Your treetop lesson is awesome. I'm not unfamiliar with some of the concepts , but , watching you make the best use of the characteristics of the tree, saw work, experience, common sense is a sight to see..
I love saws...and dirt bikes. The one thing that chaps my bahookie is the price we pay for cutting edge technology and we still have send our stuff off, paying even more, for the job that should have been done in house. I'm happy performance shops exist; maybe they should start building saws so we can buy once, cry once.
5.85 PER HOUR WAS MINIMUM WAGE WHEN I STARTED 😃😃THEN I STARTED DRYWALLING FOR 15 BUCKS PER HOUR ,THOUGHT I WON THE LOTTERY 😨😨LOL,,NICE SEEING YOU CLIMB AGAIN BUDDY✊✊✊GREAT JOB BUCKIN,,SAW WORKS GREAT😁👍🏽THANKYOU RIP SAW FOR YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE CHANNEL YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME BEST OF LUCK WITH YOUR BUISNESS VENTURE STAY SAFE
Damn bro, you scare the hell outta me when i see you cutting limbs so close to your rope. One accidental slip into that rope with that chainsaw, its GOOD NIGHT! Please be careful out there my friend, there`s only ONE BBR in the world, and we`d really like to keep him down here on earth for a long time.
One miscut and yer racin' that wood to the ground. And there are no winners in that race. I know Buckin' knows what he's doin'- he's the best I've ever seen- but a feller can get complacent and that has done in more than one pro cutter.
@@MrTruckerf Totally agree 100%! I lost a good close friend that way. He was the best i`d ever seen, like BBR, until that one slice into his rope, and he was gone.
Just watched a Westcoast saw video and now a Buckin video pops up, nice!... Buckin if you havent watched Westcoast saw video today he showed a pretty cool trick to buckin wood without gettin pinched and tears in the wood. BTW welcome all you new subscribers! Hit the like button if you enjoyed the content and help Buckin put dinner on the table. Its muchly apprecieated!
I had the same feeling with a TS350 cement saw. The 400's guzzle gas. Switched back to one of my old turds and they run forever on a tank and you can pick them up for half price.....
Great job, I'm totally with you on a pushing chain being fatiguing and dangerous, although the single tie in would have me terrified even steel core lanyards don't hold up to a chainsaw.
the year, 1989, NW Pipe and Casing $9.75 and hour and I thought I was cutting a fat hog in the ass. My how times have changed. Happy that you are here today brother.
I’m new to climbing but I love it I’ve had a fear for heights my whole but I’m pretty comfortable in a tree got any good advice sometimes I worry my picks ain’t set good so I have trouble getting both hands free from the trunk
Lol😅, normal stuff buddy , in the first 10 feet of yer climb .. stop 🛑, visualize what yer doing, and set yer mind in trusting the gear .. lay back on strap . Believe it or not you have a better chance of kickin’ out by hold the tree . Every so often, repeat the reset program. Hope this helps
Hey buckin i might have your guys answer for a pipe for it its pretty simple requires some tig welding on very thin stainless but it made a very noticeable difference. If i run my non modified muffler 201t and my modified muffler 201t its a big difference. You can look at some of my videos to hear and see just a muffler mod on a 201t in action.
So Bill what do you think about the stihlpro ms201t saw 16’’ bar listed here for 819.00 us on line for 629.00 us i am wanting to see what you have to say about it after using it. Thanks for the videos. Tom in ohio
Stihl 201 user logging in here, albeit a bit late, but I absolutely *MUST* know more about this header pipe you whipped up for this saw. The stock box muffler, even after it's been opened up, just ain't get'n it. Who do I gotta talk to, Buckin'? Also, way to set the example and get in the saddle on the anniversary of your injury. People have no idea what that does for the mind. Thanks!
On the topic of Dogs. Low end saws will have one dog, bigger saws 2 dogs. Why do we need 2 dogs when the spur of one dog set will dig in just fine. Are the pair needed to reduce uneven forces or twisting on the bar?
hey buckin! i’ve got a genuine question that i think you could really help answer, time to upgrade from my 455 rancher.. in impressed and disappointed in that purchase, im looking into professional saws now, let’s say budget wasnt so much of an option, which husky would you recommend? id be running a 20, 24 and 28 bar but i’m also a full blown motor head so would love to have a saw that i could have modified (port, exhaust etc.) but idk much about saws (clearly), from most money to cheapest i was looking into (and leaning towards) the 572xp or a 372xp or lastly.. a 365 X torq. what’s your opinion? and what would be best for modding in the future, not to build a race saw or anything but just to have some fun with, i just cut some trees from time to time mainly oak and black pine, and will cut up about 10 cords a year of firewood, im sure i don’t need any of the saws mentioned but i want to get something better and that has some good aftermarket support, what’s your thoughts which saw would you recommend? thanks!
they are basically the same saw, with slight differences in fuel and power delivery ,, but i just ran my Ripsaw 572 today . no tuning just fir up and go , kinda nice , 372 is lovely of coarse , . but i am very impressed thus far on the 572 , and it was a stock chain and no pipe ,,,, cant wait
