I’m always fascinated with the little movement techs like bash-jumping with Brigitte and the Tracer blinks at the end. Makes me think that there are still Overwatch techniques being discovered to this day.
@@adamseddon2533 no it was always possible just not to the current extent, about a year and a bit or so ago the made it so that it worked to near 50 degrees. That was insane so they for whatever reason decided to nerf it to the point were you could never ever get verticality. Then they put it somewhere between the og and the insane version. That’s where it is now
I could watch these all day. The game goes by so fast, it's easy to get caught up in the big flashy (mostly DPS) plays. It's nice to see all the little things pros do
Oge is the glue of the Mayhem. He does his job incredibly well and holds the team together as well. Checkmate is like tape. It can hold the team but is prone to falling off and can’t securely hold everything together
OGE is the glue of the Mayhem, keeping them stuck to an anchor that drags them down to the depths of an 8 match losing streak. Decent guy but an awful signing that was always going to fail, and was predicted by half the pundits, analysts and community.
Checkmate was signed to play dps and then was forced onto main tank because OGE left for a stage. Obviously checkmate is not going to ''hold the team together" while playing a role he wasn't supposed to play. OGE doing his job "incredibly well" is also very questionable, he's been on multiple different teams and each time it has been disappointing. I don't think he is a bad main tank but he hasn't performed "incredibly well" either.
Honestly my favorite series on RUclips. Helps that I'm a total OW simp, but I love getting to see these obscure techs, clutch executions, and accidentally huge plays that I -and often the analysts - would never catch on the live stream.
Man I really adore this series, I haven't played overwatch in literal years but I love learning about the little details that arise in the highest tiers of play. Between the clean script and that confident voice, I could watch videos like this for any game God, and I almost forgot to mention the amazing editing, combined with overwatch's replay system, it makes a normally chaotic and busy fight with dozens of effects and particles and sounds so easy to follow and understand.
I love your OW videos, just an idea but how about game winning micro-plays? Things you don't always see that go on to flip a game on its head or outright win a series
We tried to do one in the past, but its a lot harder without a Replay viewer tool. That's one great thing that OWL does really well in helping people make content that other esports titles should look into as well.
I'm confused why dva is the one pushing cart when they're contesting a choke there would have been easily stoppable if dva was in choke and one of the dps were pushing cart
Because D.Va can push safer alone than most heroes - if Boston decided to push the cart together like all casual ranked andys, Mayhem would have such a huge positional advantage, they might as well just drop shield and do a 180.
That's an idea we've explored and are still open to, but its tricky to visually show some of the clips in a vertical format while retaining the information we want to convey.
Now that the regular season is over, which team do think will win the 2021 Overwatch League season?
shanghai
Hunters let's goooo
shock will win COPIUM
At the grand finals, Blizzard should have the Spitfire and Titans do an exhibition match to see who is the WORST team in the league!
@@thadex454 that would be mean. But throw Valiant in there, I wanna see it lol

You couldn’t always do this as tracer. There was a patch that enabled it a while ago
It’s weird to have new weird techniques

the leejaegon play was simply insane. nothing else to add to this.
thx for making this series! whoever made it deserves a raise no cap
Mhm
Fr fr no cap bruh
dude, you didn’t have to do Nenne like that 🤣🤣

Frfr that pull dragon was just too clean
I mean if Nenne pulled it off it, would have been a great play, sadly it will forever be memed on.
Yeah but he didnt pull it off, it was a terrible play.

Yesss a new micro plays episode I love this series!!!
Not even 10 seconds in and Onigod is already doing a Hanzo wall climb on Tracer.
parkour maps maker: WRITE THAT DOWN WRITE THAT DOWN
Top stuff. This is why we watch Akshon!
Excellent job catching these plays. This deserves way more attention.
That Hanrisa combo was chef's kiss.
we need an episode on Michelle breaking the owl ult denyied record in a single map

This is an awesome series. These plays were all so huge
i could watch these micro plays all day!
Micro play series is the best Overwatch content I’ve ever seen. And I’ve been around since S1.
Great one this week, guys!
My youtube says your comment is 8 hourd old yet the video is 5 seconds Old
@@johnmarston5383 a patron probably made the comment
Never stop these, they are amazing
great episode as always, you guys struck gold with this series
Glad you enjoy it!
Thank you for making this series very entertaining
I would watch the hell out of OWL if I had this guy recap every play
I really love movement/positioning plays they are just things you dont see often but are cool as hell
The first one in the Reign-Mayhem game was crazy such an intense match decided by that
Never disappointed by these
It's the little things that count that can turn the tide of battle.
Love the ambient music in this video
I don't watch owl anymore but this was great and now I want to watch it again
Love these breakdowns!
I love this series!
Awesome video really interesting and amazing editing!
Keep it that waaaay =D
I was wondering what happened to Paris nanoblade. thanks for that :)
Casters literally called it lol
Where Is the Havana incident XD
Awesome video! Love your work! Keep it up!
My favorite part of this video is.... using Divinity Original Sin 2 soundtrack.
5:30 as an uprising fan, that H U R T
love this video series
Dohas hack was just insane, thats my favorite
1:40 I was always a bit salty you couldn’t get up here as brig but I guess you can. I’ll probably use this sometime
Keep these videos up
That OGE halt was sooo dirty 😫
I clicked this faster than tracer triple blinking
"HOTBA does what Nenne couldnt" pls dont make me remember that aa
Kai accidentally killing bqb is so funny
More micro plays!
Yeah I basically have nothing special to say but I want to say thank you again for the tremendous work.
Thanks!
Imagine if Akshon esports covers other games' micro plays...
This series is mwa👌
leejaegon just doing leejaegon stuff
great video 👍
I don't even play Overwatch, let along other FPS. This is still fun to watch.
It seems like sombra is a must pick for ow league
Doha is an absolute maniac
Brig to high ground on kings row....... If i seen that in a game i would be like WTF!
I love your OW videos, just an idea but how about game winning micro-plays? Things you don't always see that go on to flip a game on its head or outright win a series
massive shade at Nene
When?
I really liked the background music you guys used, particularly in the 4:00 mark. Do you have a link to it?
what is the music at 3:25 it’s so amazing
Every time I watch one of these videos, I wish for a Toronto Defiant play to be showcased. And every time I’m left disappointed and sad :(
bro that blizzard eat by michelle was one of the best plays off all time
Leejaegon is very easily the best flex support in the world
Imagine if oge stayed on Dallas
Actual 5head plays
I don't even watch or play ow anymore, but cool video
Ok, at first i didnt understand hotba does what nenne couldn't then remembered rialto 3rd point.

Dragons and Fuel weren’t even trying to win, they are already in, they are most likely practicing to be champions and not show their hand.
