One of the most warming videos between two guys I’ve ever seen. And to think it’s been cultivated and consistent for 7 years. Between Nardy’s numerous gratitude for Tyler and Tyler’s genuine happiness for and with him, there’s just too many words and moments to type and comment on with only 40 minutes of footage. There needs to be a podcast, a show (really anywhere), or some sort of video series with these two. Not only would it be one of the most positive and healthiest collections of content in the music industry, it would be that belly laughing humor mixed in with a type of musical education and recollection of history that’s specific and unique to only these two men. Tyler love him or hate him is an artist. He takes everything about music and the culture to heart. If he loves something he doesn’t care if it’s cool or if other people also like it. He loves shit that just makes him think or vibe when he hears it. I’m the same way. There isn’t a genre of music I haven’t heard that I can’t find a certain band that makes it sound good. Jazz, techno, country, death metal, disco, pop I can find a song from all that that makes my head bop and feel good. The reason he embraced nardwuar is because he feels that same passion. One time he asked nardwuar where he got a certain record and he said “it’s from my collection, I think he’s fantastic.” And I remember Tyler just looking at him like “my nigga”.
