Dude I did it successfully! R9M (not 2019 version) successfully bound to R9 Slim + OTA receiver. R9M is connected to my Radiolink AT9. Thank you so much!

I dont know if you still monotoring the comments. I get the procedure. What happens if you want to use multiple receivers on different models. How does it know what receiver/model combo is used. Do i have to bind everytime i fly a diffetent model?

Yes, you can do serial pass through on your flight controller to send the new firmware to your receiver through usb.

If you want rssi you have to use r9m slim+ receiver and omnibus f4 or matek f405 with analog rssi output on Receiver and input of FC . Then hard wire the rssi from Receiver to FC
Thank you. Yes you can output the rssi to betaflight/inav. The r9mm outputs rssi on CH16 with sbus.

on the transmitter side there is only one R9 module. But on the reciever side there are a few options which differ in size and antennas. The fullsized R9 reciever is the biggest but should give you the best range

@@HackNtheBox I have been searching around actually there are 3 r9M modules, black early version, red 2019 version & today I saw a newer red version with ACCESS printed on it ....AND THEY ARE NOT THE SAME...diff hardware and software the manufacturer told me
I have seen 3 videos on this mod but none of you actually show us it being used successfully just bench tests, do you have any videos of this mod actually going long range....
makes me very skeptical......so how do you change the output power on the R9M module to actually use it long range?????
@@michaeljohnsoldmercurysite5543 Sorry for the missunderstanding, you are right there are techincally 3 different versions of the R9m. You can change the output power with the dip switches on the back of the R9m.
I am flying with this mod on a daily base with my nano talon (since months now), on 100mw, and my current record is around 4KM, but there I still have around 30percent RSSI left.
For now I never had any problems with it (no failsafe, only for testing purposes).
The problem with publishing a video is that it isnt that simple to hide the location I am flying at (I guess others are facing the same problems).

Hi, I need your help. I follow all your steps and I can't bind tem. Receiver and module is upgraded, same versión of Access, but receiver still in bind Mode, but module not. Only flash once green light and red light is always on. I can't bind. I need your help

@@nexus7807 first with a ftdi. Then, finally, I bought a qx7 and update to Last versión accst. Thats work

@@nexus7807 yes, I fight with that too. And The problema was that. Different firmware. You must install The same firm, same versión, for each tx or rx, and will be run.
the module doesn't goes in bind mode. the light is always red.
How did you setup failsafe?
The flight controller (Inav) recognizes if the rc link is lost and then performs a return to home action with landing the plane by it self at the end.
how is the latency? is it ok for freestyle?
I never had problems with the latency, but I am only flying fixed wing with it. But from what I can tell I would say its fine for freestyle as well
Please help, I connected i6x wth ppm to r9m, solder r9mm rx to fc, set receiver to sbus in betaflight, r9m bind with receiver, but receiver doesnt respond to flysky inputs at all.

@@amitlal3817 You dont have to change any settings in the transmitter, it always outputs ppm at the ppm pad. Yes I guess it would be possible to use the ppm out of the trainer port, I even guess it is routed to the same ppm pad. But I haven´t tried that because I removed the trainer port to route the wires to that hole.
