Hey Albo you dont need to drive the S2k on a track to race. But you would get a nice stage for an epic fotoshooting....
For serious track use I totally agree and think it's the best to go with a car that you dont longer care "too much" for.
And I'm hoping to see the lil'Banana (NB) back on track soon ;)

I remeber when JGTC came to the states and a real fast NSX n SUPRA was owning!! Are these amature - advance drivers? Lines look weird..
What impresses me the most is that Japan has circuits open during the cold season.
More of this for sure. I was lucky enough to get an R33 GTS with some friends through power vehicles. Put a little into it and got to track it. Then he buys it back. I'd love to do that again but on a smaller scale.
Please make an in depth video of that r32 gtr and it's history and previous owners it would be really interesting.

The r32 was understeering a lot but the driver did a good job , he needs a little more suspension upgrades

How much a track day cost in Japan?
Nice video Albo. For a track day I would recommend to prepare the S2000 for. Like upgraded brake pads, a baffled oil pan and good tires of course. A technical look around the car for example the suspension shuld be compulsory. Have fun! Cant wait for more content like this.
I think you’re going to like driving on a road course. The more you do it, the more you’ll get to know your car and the more confidence you’ll get and the faster you’ll go! btw I was doing track days during COVID, last year in the US. It’s not all locked down everywhere

Without watching the video on a financial note I would say it hasn't affected them. On the contrary,they are exporting so many cars..

Canards in the rear in front of the rear tires help direct air to reduce drag. pretty common, i see them alot in the heavily modfied aero on Time Attack cars
