The Dragon before meeting the princess: "Alright, just grab the princess and get out. She'll probably be a brat anyways, so I can just eat her if i don't like her." The Dragon after meeting the princess: "...You know what? This girl could use a vacation. She can chill at my place."
How lovely to see a dragon with standards these days. A proper stay for a proper guest. We might even get a proper slow burn out of it? *wink wink nudge nudge?*
Exactly! It's usually the other way around and I really love doing trope flips in this genre so I'm glad that it got noticed the way it was intended! My pleasure to offer the unique experience! :-D
Dragon: "Well, I probably screw up the chance having her a friend." Princess: "Well, kind of you aren't treating me as a slave, or I am your dinner. You aren't a monster let think about it."
That posh accent is really nice, and I was surprised that she was the one to initiate the conversation. Probably thought he was a mage like herself, and she was right. Just not entirely right. ^_^
Thanks! I wouldn't have considered my horrible attempt at a British accent "posh" but I'm flattered you thought it was nice :-D I mean, there are certain things that have to be adjusted when writing for this medium. If this was a novel, Aurelia might not have been the one to begin the conversation, but since I'm the only audible dialogue, things sometimes need to be a little different. She definitely thought the dragon was some sort of mage. And dragons have their own magic, so she wasn't wrong either XD
@@TallyMarkASMR Not horrible at all. I think it's called Received Pronunciation, though I could be wrong. I just read about it, rather than have a real Brit demonstrate it.
Man other dragons out there guving us a bad rep, treat your guests nice. Also do love the whole, this isnt personal against yoy, i just got issue with the old man, i know it was rude with whar ive done, but hey just dont touch the hoard and we good.
Tbh I never really understood why there’s the trope of dragons kidnapping princesses because none of the fairy tales I read ever really actually featured that as a plot point and I was trying to figure out a good reason and I liked this one best because it was kinda funny to me 😆
@TallyMarkASMR I enjoy this one too, its why i love to see other hoards that dragons have cause yeah gold and such is cool , but i like yo see them with stuff like books or like plants, stuff they value. (i like to belive its all they can normally sleep on or near, so yeah you would be grumpy if someone busted in to fight you for your bed you worked to get)
Thank you! Happy to hear that! I thought it’d be a lot of fun to have the listener be a dragon for a change 😆 (most audios I see featuring dragons involve the VA being the dragon)
@TallyMarkASMR haven't we all lol. I can do a few accents, but nothing crazy. I try to do as many different voices as possible for my players, but sometimes I just can't. And then again there are times I slip into weird accents in public, so who knows. It definitely keeps the days interesting.
This reminds me of a stupid idea i had of dragon kidnapping a prince or princess then immediately reget it as they have to deal with the very needy well needs of princess or prince while being all alone without anyone to help them deal with it.
Me: humans can be stupid sometimes and very annoying but her seem very intelligente well i might take her with me 😏😈 Her: and my father tell me i will be the new queen 😁😊😊 Me: yeah yeah one day maybe or not 😈
Oh have I got a series for you! My good friend @FrenchieSounds has a *great* series with the dragoness kidnapping the listener! It's called "Ruby's Flame, The Queen's Treasure" over on her channel This one was meant to be an inversion on the Audio RP/Fantasy ASMR trope that the voiced character is *always* the dragon and the listener character is *always* the royal (that I've seen), so I wanted the voiced to be the royal and the listener to be the dragon Not discounting the idea that I could do something with a dragoness kidnapping the listener at some point, but Frenchie already did such a good job herself (I'm a guest voice as another character too in the series!) that there's not really much point in me doing it, in my opinion. Frenchie already did a much better job than I would have - I *highly* recommend going and checking it out!
Is it bad that I kind hope this end with the dragon dead ? I know it most likely won't. But I'm just tired of situation like this. He is a bloody dragon. If he wanted, surely he could just go straight after the king, without this cowardly scheme. Instead we get this Beauty and the Beast type trope.
Now, don't get me wrong. It is a well-made audio and it seem like a good story. I just wanted to get that out of my chest. I have been found too many stories of this type lately from some my favorite asmr youtubers and it get tiresome. And yes, Tally, you are one them, if by any chance you are reading this comment
Dragon's not necessarily a "he." I try to avoid that kind of thing for the individual listener's interpretation's sake. And I know it's a ridiculous trope that hasn't always made sense. But I'm baking in a plot point that gives the dragon a reason to go after the princess instead of the king because I also want this to make sense (and for the record Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite fairy tales so I don't really mind if this story is evocative of that, tbh)
@@TallyMarkASMR The "he" part was error on my part. I usually use "them". And like I said it isn't a bad idea for a plot. It kinda make sense. I just don't like it. It is more of personal preference. Nothing againt the story itself.
Oh trust me, I read pretty much all of my comments - and thank you! I only watch a handful of other VAs so I haven't seen anyone else doing this kind of stories (the very few I've noticed are always the other way around where the speaker is the dragon and the listener is the royal)
@@TallyMarkASMR It not the dragon part. It the kidnapping someone innocent to hurt someone else, then the victim falling in love with their kidnapper that I don't like. Too similar to yandere and the other dubious consent audios for my taste
