It’s nice to have commentary by two people who know the history and are tied to it themselves because they are both weightlifters. Something about Max having been to Bulgaria also seems to bring a huge amount of legitimacy to the table. Y’all both are really doing great things and I congratulate you.
Chen Lijun is just amazing.

Thank you very much for the content. Always appreciated. ❤
Great shot of Lee at the opening of the video. Functional muscles doing work
38:25 - That is quite a large bump at the base of his neck in the middle of his back. Interesting.
Great to have the scoreboard at the end!
2:12 - Interestingly way back in the old iron plate days, if you look at some of the old films they would often have only two 20 Kg plates on the bar when it was loaded way above what they should have had four 20 Kg plates loaded. Also they had small 15 Kg plates and 10 Kg plates. Dropping a weight loaded like that puts serious stress not only on the 20 Kg plates, but also would put divits in the wooden platforms causing issues with centering the bar for the next lifter.
I liked it when you guys talked through the 10-minute break. Still, thanks for bringing this to us.

Great coverage. I disagree with your hopeful take on removing the bobble elbow or pressing out. You said that no competitor would start intentionally pressing out. Watching over the decades I can tell you they will do what they can get away with to win - no matter what. Most of these peoples lives depend on this sport for their income do they not? Are they state sponsored at this level? Thinking that everyone will inherently want to play fair is just inadmissible.
I expected lee sang won a gold medal. insane squat strength
Its all for show. Its funny how they keep showing all the heavy lifts of some athletes BUT come competition time they cant even dominate or podium 😂 what does that mean then?
@@PhiyackYuh Looks like Lee Sang is more built for powerlifting than weightlifting
The press out is a stupid rule.
Pocket Hercules did 190 Kg and he was in lower 56 Kg class.
he was also on insane amounts of gear😂
@@sethsadventuretogreatness3642 He may well have been but they all were. He still had to lift the weight. I am by no means condoning drug taking but you do realise many people think you are a weak minded fool when you post this, don't you? Then again perhaps not.
@@stephenribchester2185 Ik every weightlifter is on gear but theres a difference between blasting and taking doses where you wont get caught by drug testers
@@sethsadventuretogreatness3642Lmao this korean got way more than naim) he looks like fuking bodybilder
@@sethsadventuretogreatness3642so is everyone else on this comp. Come on now. 😂 they are just weak compare to goat naim 😊
This is so funny. Pocket Hercules lifted 190 Kilograms
Release Women's 49 next. That weight has the prettiest girls
