Thanks for the upload. Now I have to figure out what affordable sub to use in my 25x40 open living room / kitchen. My Klipsh Heresey’s struggle with bass for that size room.
Thank you for stopping in! , Alot of people go with SVS subs now days ,
I paid 799.00 for the Klispch Reference 10d thats in the video back in 08 or 09 it was their top of the line with an hybrid class A power amp design but about 6 months ago i fryed the amp to some old school Dr.Dre the chronic cd 😆 It lasted me 10 years not bad for me lol but i been looking at REL subs lately , I wrote both SVS Klispch and Rel to review their subs on the channel but no1 wrote me back 😥
Thanks man. Good straightforward demo!

Thank s for the video My subwoofer only has a single RCA input. Is there a way of wiring a spkr wire harness direct and if so would I need to make one or two harnesses since the sub only has one RCA input jack?
Thanks In advance

Thank you for this informative demo - much appreciated.
What happens if all ur sub gots is a line input jack like a onkyo skw-580?? And a 2 channel receiver such as a optimus sta-795. Thanks subscribed and love ur channel VERY informative & underated!!
Great vid, but I have 4 speakers in the ceiling, not sure this works without an open B set of speakers.
You can tape into the speaker output from amp Left/right channel the sub only takes like 500mv of signal theirs no drivr power with like a passive speaker
THANKS TJ !!!
Hey TJ can you review : Elec Subwoofer 1010 because of your review I ended up making a purchase on this subwoofer,I was very very close to Purchasing a SVS SUBWOOFER PRO SERIES however bought the Elac for $119 and I followed your instructions for connections for$119 it's a very very pleasant surprise again can you review this SUBWOOFER. You sure doing a great job thank you man. Also used connection for A & B on Onkyo A9150 2 channel Intergrated Amp.
Simple and to the point! Love it.

I have a JVC receiver from the 90s with switches for A and B speakers and A and B jacks. "A" works ok alone, "B" works ok alone, but when I turn on both A and B together, only one pair of speakers works. :(
Shouldn't be that way!!!
I owned many Japanese victory Company ' i had the Rx 303 then i traded up to RX 307 then finally the Rx 1001 -
Is yours a V model ? (Rx-V )
quick question, was told it's bad to send amplified signel to a active amp??? I put my sub through a tape 2 output on my amp,it has no sub connection, works great...any feedback would be appreciated.
If your sub has has level input it should be ok i didn't think tape output had variable volume
@@tee-jaythestereo-bargainph2120 thanks for reply,my sub only has RCA inputs and amp speaker wire, yes the only way I can turn my sub up is on it,it doesn't connect with volume control on amp,I was looking to get wire to RCA adapter but was told not a good idea? Any more help/info would be appreciated 👍
Also tried dodgy wired it in and sub is pretty max at lowest volume setting on sub but sounds good and loud, wire to RCA adapter would work you think? Just don't wanna damage amps
Subscribed👍
My Klipsch sub only have rca line in and it is a powered sub. My receiver has a (sub out) but not sure if I would burn my amp up on my sub plugging it in like that. Idk if the receiver would overheat the amp sub or if it would be ok. It is the klipsch KD10SW
You sound like a homie I use to know from Spokane Wa thanks for info dude
My reserver had a subwoofer port so all I had to do was connect 1 wire (lfe) and it worked but thanks for this video
Great illustration and demonstration I’ll try that - thank you
Wow” TJ, this is Great .
Thank you 😃
Excellent video. Thanks
Thanks! Just the info I wanted
I have the exact same system thank you for your help I will purchase a preamp high level input subwoofer
Thank for your tutorial. How about when we got 4 speakers connected: 2@A and 2@B? Would I still plug subwoofer with 2X speakers on B?
I would plug speaker A to one set of speakers then speaker B run wire to your 2nd set of speakers and the powered sub. The sub wont draw power from the amp because its very high impedance.
thanks for the video
This was a very helpful video. Thank you!
Thats what keeps me going !
I will be syarting a new series on me channel called tricks of the trade with Audio gear and speakers
@@tee-jaythestereo-bargainph2120 I’m hooking an older set of Paradigms, inc the sub with a very nice Yamaha receiver. It’s probably 25 years old, had it stored. Couldn’t remember how to wire the sub!
@@RevMikePiano i am here if you need any help !! And yes i am a die hard YAMAHA Fan !
@@tee-jaythestereo-bargainph2120 Appreciate it!

Your welcome chad
Best explanation yet . 👍🏾
Thank you 😆
What if you only have one set of speakers like the musical fidelity e10? Could you connect the sub to the same terminals of your front speakers?
Yes 100 percent -The sub only needs a signal - the signal gets boosted by the subs internal 'Pre'
