One thing i like in SNK themes is that they look like a real band work. Look at this here: sax, drums, bass, keyboards. Capcom's themes are all about synthetizers.
I like Capcom and SNK games equally but get to admit I am very impressed that SNK is able to pull of such soundtracks with MVS’ 16 bit hardware limitation. Technically MVS also used similar Yamaha synthesisers. They are just good at making their tracks sound like CD quality. Both SNK and Cave are gods when it comes to creating miracles out of FM units.
