Yo what’s up everyone, I wanted to elaborate further with you all on why I chose to talk about my faith in this video as I’ve read a lot of comments that show this concern. Firstly, I want to make it clear that by no means do I claim these to be the views of Shuzo. These are my views and beliefs alone. I simply thought that it would be a good opportunity to share why I make these videos. Not to convert or convince anyone to become a Christian, but to be transparent with my viewers about something that's really important to me. It truly is to show how God has transformed my life and continues to transform me. Yes, I am human and yes, I fall short of perfection. We all do. But I hope that in spite of how crappy humans can be, that we can pursue love and empathy. As I said in the video, Shuzo’s message is all about perseverance and hope. Even in the darkest of days. I hope you all interact with each other in a kind way. Whether it’s on this video or even in day to day interactions you have with people. Pick up some litter on the side of the road. Wish someone a good day. Call a friend that you haven’t talked to in years. Take the shopping cart back to the shopping cart area rather than leaving it in the parking lot. Not to be a “good” person but simply to make the world a better place. Just like I have the freedom to express my faith, you have the freedom to disagree and share your own world views. But please, do it in a respectful and loving manner. You’ll be surprised at how fruitful conversations become when you simply listen and put kindness at the center of your conversation. Thank you all for watching. I appreciate it immensely!
Beautiful, man. Lots of respect to you for spreading faith in such a way. I can tell you want to help others find the joy you’ve found, because you’re a good person. Definitely agree with your philosophy there. I didn’t end up finding faith until my late 20s, having been an atheist since I was a young teen at that point. It was quite the journey but some people much like yourself helped water that seed in my mind and heart overtime. I still have a lot of healing to do, I’m still a sinner. And I am by no means a model of faith, there’s a long journey ahead. But my mind and my heart is open and healing, and just like you I will be there for other people when they need it. Enough rambling about me though. I just want to say I see you and I appreciate you. God Bless man

Great video, I loved how you've covered the case. Funny how motivational such a short video of a man you didn't know before can be. I had 2 open tabs with Shuzo Matsuoka videos in them, this video was suggested on one of them and it helped me gain a richer prespective. Although I have to say I got jump scared in the end haha
Glad you enjoyed it! What motivated me to make this video was the fact that no one on RUclips had really analyzed what makes him such an inspiring figure. It makes me happy to know that more people can come to appreciate his wisdom and advice! Sorry to hear that the end scared you haha I distorted my voice a bit for impact
Almost totally agree, but sometimes we need to have the right to just give up. Sometimes you had belived that you needed something either because of yourself or others, but with time you see that it is not worth it and I think in this times you'll be wiser to just give up and look after something that really matter

The version of this message which resonates with me the most is the one said by Jim Valvano, late head basketball coach of North Carolina State University. He was diagnosed with metastatic adenocarcinoma(cancer which targets organ tissues + blood vessels' cells, I think) at just 46. But Jim resolved to do what he could with the time he had rather than let his illness get the better of him; not even his appearance betrayed how bad off he was. Not even 10 weeks before his passing, he gave a speech at NC State's Reynolds Coliseum (where basketball games were held, of course) to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the 1983 NCAA championship (State won with him coaching). Here Valvano created the quote, "Don't give up, don't ever give up," which became the motto of a cancer research foundation created in his name. Valvano gave another speech just 11 days later at the ESPY Awards when accepting the Arthur Ashe Courage and Humanitarian Award, which WAS actually broadcast and recorded. The entire speech is fantastic and includes his previous quote, but another great line is, "Cancer can take away all of my physical abilities. It cannot touch my mind, it cannot touch my heart, and it cannot touch my soul. And those three things are going to carry on forever. I thank you and God bless you all." The full version is on YT, I'd highly recommend you look it up. With some tissues.

But man,im tired, im so fu.cking tired, its almost agonizing and the only reason I havent off myself again, its because I dont want to scare my family to death (again) and I dont habe the balls for it.
We need so many more people like Shuzo Matsuoka in this world.
I just found out about you, but i'm a supporter already. Never Give Up friend!" Your purpose is very meaningful
Thank you very much :)
God bless you brother, this was a great video
Thank you brother! God bless
This was a wonderful video. I'm so glad that I found your channel!
Thank you very much!
Struggling is always better than surrendering. I gotta think about that for a sec.
Almost totally agree, but sometimes we need to have the right to just give up. Sometimes you had belived that you needed something either because of yourself or others, but with time you see that it is not worth it and I think in this times you'll be wiser to just give up and look after something that really matter
Thank you
I subscribed as you said you've found God and sharing through your videos. Keep up the faith, brother. God bless
God bless!
This dudes getting a new subscriber, continue the good work my brother in Christ ❤️

Really well made!! Found it by looking up so many Shuzo Matsuoka videos one night when I was feeling down. 😅
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it. I still watch Shuzo Matsuoka compilations every now and then. They are incredibly motivational :)
5:43 WATASHI THEME

well earned Channel Sub here! this never give up video is probably one of those few pieces of media besides Death Grip's On GP that has had some serious power and motivation to refuse being banned to the shadow realm by evil voices inside my head. beautiful short essay / analysis. love the story behind the meme. just beyond wholesome. NEVER GIVE UP
Thanks bro. Akiramenai!
while watching this video i was thinking that if it was christian it would've been perfect... then you mentioned the bible and the gospel, amazing video man the end scared me tho haha. God bless
I’ve heard that the end acted like a jump scare haha apologies. I wanted to get a powerful impact with the last words. God bless you my friend :)
I lost my job with a daughter due in a few months. It's easy to wake up every morning just to mope and curse my fate, but that doesn't make it any more fulfilling. As Christians, we are called to seek His face. How can I do that if I'm looking down at my temporary circumstances? You helped me see that through this video. Thanks!
My pleasure! Wishing you the best with your soon to be born daughter. God bless bro!
If you guys really want to get through a rough time I suggest you look at other inspirational people like David Goggins , Tom platz and Jordan Peterson.
Very big fan of Jordan Peterson
People need to know shuzo not Andrew Tate
Reflets dans l’eau, I see you bro. Very nice
One of my favorite pieces by Debussy
Beautiful i truly hope possibly more!!! Ill sub regardless if another pops up inwanna know this is a great commentary example. Easy to understand and clearly spoken and calm not jaring at all, if i had anything to say maybe tone down music just a tiny bit, sounds great in car but headphones its kinda overpowering. Great work and have a geat lofe regardless of more content
Thanks for the feedback! :) Glad you enjoyed it.
Loved the vid, but 7:42 made me jump 😂
Had to add it for impact haha
Wasn't going to leave a comment until I heard Watashi's theme. I just rewatched the last episode (love it a lot). What are the odds? I've never heard it being used in a video as a bgm before. Lovely video by the way, keep it up. God bless.
Many thanks! It’s a great anime. Definitely one of my all time favorites. I find myself coming back to the OST quite a lot!
such a good video man hope you upload something with this same content
Thank you very much!
Great video buddy, always maintain your righteousness, God bless you.
God bless!
I am having an awful time this year. I have been trying to get a job for a year, have no girlfriend, barely any friends, zero accomplished met, nothing under my name.
Do I have the worst life?,no. But man,im tired, im so fu.cking tired, its almost agonizing and the only reason I havent off myself again, its because I dont want to scare my family to death (again) and I dont habe the balls for it. If this is limbo, man,it sucks
NEVER. GIVE. UP
NEVER. LET. DOWN
NEVER. RUN. AROUND
AND DESERT
I'm going to be honest I thought he was a salmon farmer
Give- Up. Is surrender. ❤️
NEVER GIVE UP , NEVER WHAT???
Hello bro thank you for creating this video a while back I discovered this Japanese man that you are speaking of and I was very motivated by his videos however recently I have been through some dark things in my life and I will most likely have to flee my country from abuse and leave everything I've known behind however seeing this Japanese man's face again and watching your video essay is giving me hope thank you for making this video and I'm also a Christian to❤
@@1wa83n My pleasure! Wishing you the best :)
