This video found me at the perfect time. Im feeling worried about the future because I’m going to university in a few years and the statistic getting a high paying job in fifteen months was 80% for the best universities in my country. Also the fact that it’s too expensive to live isn’t helping. But this guy calms me down. Hopefully things can get better but for now I gotta make things that are in my control ok. The past has happened, you can only let the future happen, but you can make a good present happen for yourself.

I'm not a christian myself, but i resonate strongly with christian ideals, and thus talk a lot about religion with christian friends, who also like anime and other japanese media. So, i mean to ask: Have you ever watched Trigun? Since you said that you want to spread your faith without being overly vocal about it, i think Trigun is the best example i can think of of spreading Christian ideals and symbology without ever acknowledging or saying it out loud. If you have watched it, what are your thoughts on it? I personally really like the character of Wolfwood, and how he represents the struggles of a regular person trying to live up to and by these ideals and "failing" to, especially in contrast to Vash, and how he deals with that at the end.

I just finished the first 62 episode. It's so good. Makes me appreciate Togashi's work a lot more than the 2011 version ever did. Not saying the 2011 version is bad by any means

Last year (Around october) I downloaded this video into an audio in my phone, because here in Brazil was the time of the "Vestibulares" (the exams that decide if you can get into an university paid or public, and is considered one of the hardest and important moments of a students life) and I thought I wouldn't be able to get into one (my mind wasn't at a clear state at that time, anxious and all lol) . So before going to every silgle test I usually put the audio of this video and listened on repeat to get calm and motivate me. Now I am going for my second week of classes on one of the top 3 universities of latin america. Never give up bros!

I love how the 99 version has a cool take on the psychological fight in the manga, different from the generic, marketable shonen aesthetic that the 2011 version has. My favorite example is how version 99 skips that chapter from the manga that explains the whole fight between hisoka and kastro and the whole "uuhhh hisoka is very strange and mysterious and a free soul idk blabla" text, because it's just pointless with the way hisoka evolves in the whole series. the 99ver make you realize by yourself all that explanation that appears in the manga and the 2011ver That's why I consider 99 to be the def version of hxh, I wish they would continue with that version....
