It has been a great learning from Mr. Mathais. I started 1 month ago with a teacher who taught me the basic scale lesson. I have been following Mathais classes and very interesting. He teaches fingering so nicely. Now I am practising pentatonic scales and it is an amazing learning. Thanks, Mathais and I will continue to follow.
Hi, I stumbled across this very, very interesting video, a different approach to the study and application of pentatonics, really well done, excellent work, keep it up
Very nice! One month in with my bari. (ex-French Horn player) A pleasant diversion from overtones, long tones, etc. I know these are essential, but it's nice to sound like you're playing actual "music" for a short period.
Nice video for the beginners like me, you did say on tenor the fingering is the same, the only thing the change is the background music to match the tenor pitch
Good morning Alexander.. I love this piece of video... I never had any teaching prior to watching your videos... I want to send you a video of how I'm getting along... Need your feed back
Hey Eugenia, these are in the key of C Major so it will work for songs in the key of C Major or the relative minor which is A Minor. You need to transpose these licks to other keys if you want them to work. Hope that answers your question! Alexander
