nice guide man, im running on a 3060 and 5600x and with lossless scaling i can run the game at ultra at 100+ fps (1440p)but it has a lot of lag spikes while landing, these settings just made my game buttery smooth and significantly less lag spikes.
I found something else that really helps keeping the sim running smoothly. I have MSI Afterburner and I also installed RivaTuner Statistics Server that came with it. With RTSS, I capped my fps at 60 and fly above Manhattan at 1500 AGL in a GA with nary a spike. Granted, I also have a 4070 ti (12GB) but it is still worth a shot for those with lesser cards. It sure helped me a bunch.
Yep! I forgot to mention I have mine capped at 30fps (on a 60hz TV) and the LS frame gen doubles it to 60. NO NEED TO PRODUCE EXTRA FRAMES YOU DONT NEED!
@@marcosdevincenz3344 yeah it does , but it honestly doesn’t bother me. It only really gets noticeable when you pan extremely fast. But it’s a trade off I’ll take to achieve the resolution and fps I get
@@skinnyTheCat I’ll have to do another video on that! I totally forgot about that. But I looked up nvidia control panel settings for gaming and essentially copied that lol
Hi dude, i have some questions, sorry for the inconvenience. Firstly, how much resulotion is your monitor? Because im wondering if it would be suitable or not to do the same as you show in the video of upsacling the resolution of the sim to a higher one, in my case 2k for example, having myself a 1080p monitor ( when i have tried it before, my screens, specially the pfds look so blurry that is unplayable). Secondly i have a 3060 of 12gb of vram instead of the 3060ti of 8gb of vram which you have, that is more powerful but has less vram so i am in doubt if i have to apply the same adjustaments in the seetings as you applied in your video? Greetings
@@marcosdevincenz3344 I’ve got a 4K tv, so I’m not sure on the upscaling aspect. But with 12 gb of vram the Lossless scaling should work fairly well, better than it does for me I’d imagine
@@antoniomaruge8218 I can try, but filming in 1440p is going to make that not very accurate. It would be easier for you to try out my settings on your own in that environment.
There mid and low systems then there is mine lol, getting 10 years old now. Intel i5820k - gtx 970 (although i do have 64gb of ram and ssd) but yeah this year it getting too old to cope now with MSFS let alone new one. I desperately need a new gpu but then my motherboard and chip so old they throttle any new parts so time for a new system but atm real life and costs been kicking my arse. I used a lot of all these and some planes i still get 20/25 fps especially fbw a320 and some planes, but then other are less 10fps and airport add-ons and Vatsim or others all hammer the heck out of the fps and pcs even on 1080p resolution. Turning of AI planes, boats and cars in main settings (on ground) help reduce stutters for me and give me some fps back. I've done all the PC/Nvidia settings, cache, in ingame settings, tried lossless scaling (which is terrible for me - due to such low baselines but those with more modern cards have said it works for them) etc. Good to see more settings videos it's a service and help to all & it an art to fiddle with simming to get performance these days.
@@ItsRobert1 I have this issue. When I download it and run the app I Pin it to my taskbar. Then I’ll delete my downloaded zip files and other junk and I think I accidentally delete the panel for the app? Idk if that makes sense but redownload it and move it to another location apart from your download folder. That usually works for me
Nice to see that people making a guide/helping out others that dont have a 4090 . Great video and thank you for the information.
Thank you for watching man, and it seems like every msfs content creator has insane GPU's and doesnt ever look out for the normal gpu having fellas.

I tried the Autofps app it keeps saying already running can’t open the window?
Look at system icons bottom left. Find the app and click it to open or close down. When running out has auto minimised for you
