Cute little machine, very well put together, excellent built quality and finish, love the color, it is so tiny, it looks more like a 13 inch than a 14, the only down side is the display and heat issues, if you put it on your lap you will feel the warmth on your legs, if sitting on a table, it is a none issue, and the display on my unit is like faded and soft, like if Photoshop effect is being applied to the image on every video, also the colors are off by default so you have to fiddle with it color adjustment and monitor profiles depending on what you are watching, if you not picky, this is the one to get, but if you care about accurate color and sharp display, this is not the machine. long gone are the day of natural displays without effects that you can't turn off or control. Most machines are coming this way these days so be aware. Text are sharp, but you can definitely tell smoothing of people's skin texture, and the natural shadows are being lighten to give you a more HDR effect.
Yes for sure. Th thing I am really impressed about is battery life and performance. I think those two things along with AI capabilities are worth getting :)
Hi, related to the touch screen performance with the stylus, from the Video I can see the latency is very low (basically to my eye through the video is looking almost instantaneously). My personal favorite and benchmark is Samsung Tab S9 & 10 ultra which is 2.8 mSec. Do you have any quantitative value for this laptop as well? thanks a lot for the effort.
Hp doesn't mention the numbers but it is definitely below 5ms if I am not wrong. I have also used all of the samsung tab and phones like s24 ultra. Can't tell the difference though.
Can the AI system on-the-device answer these two questions? * if I swap the SSD that the Flip comes with, with a larger SSD, will that break the warranty? * will use of Windows Hello to lock the screen, immediately put the laptop to sleep, even when the System/Power/Screen, Sleep & Hibernation timeout setting is set to *never* go to sleep (when Powered from the grid)? [On my HP Elite Dragonfly G3, Windows Hello seems to override the Power setting when the screen is locked, which is *insane behavior*: I cannot leave the laptop to finish generating an *.mp4 video file -- which may easily take an hour -- because the laptop goes to sleep when Windows Hello locks the screen...]
This is what I got 1. Swapping the SSD in your Flip device with a larger one might void the warranty, as most manufacturers consider modifications like this to be outside the scope of their warranty coverage. It's always best to check the specific warranty terms for your device or contact the manufacturer directly to be sure. 2. It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue! Unfortunately, it seems that Windows Hello can indeed override power settings and put the laptop to sleep when the screen is locked, even if the sleep settings are configured to never sleep. This behavior can be particularly inconvenient when you're running long tasks like video rendering. One potential workaround is to disable Windows Hello facial recognition and use a different method to lock your screen, such as a password or PIN. Alternatively, you could adjust the power settings to extend the time before the laptop goes to sleep, though this might not completely solve the issue. here you go :)
This is a fantastic video. Thank you so much.

This one or Asus Zenbook S 14 with same chip?
I don't think you can go wrong either way. It depends what is your preference for the design.
