The last M car with a bespoke motorsport derived high revving, ITB equipped engine! I can assure you, the engineering team had far more fun designing the S65 than any current turbo M engine!
@SeeThroughMeDK First of all, top tier editing & video quality, respect my dude. Question though, was the sunroof a seldom-known custom order option on the coupe/e92 m3 or something? Cuz I've done countless hours of research on the e92 as it is my one true dream car & everything else about this alpine white car looks purebred e92 m3 to me, but all info I've seen thus far says if theres no carbon fiber roof its not a VIN matching m3. Please educate. 🤘
Thanks a lot dude! Old video of mine btw...much more to see in the future by me ! new knowledge new camera new levels of productions ! .So about your question ... in the description is Giannis (the owner) IG .. hit him up with a message to ask him about it !
I SUGGEST CALLING BMW OF NORTH AMERICA TO GET THE HISTORY DONT MAKE QUIK DECISION OR ITS BIG MONEY WASTED SECONDARY ROAD TEST AND CAMPARE PRICE AND TWO SEPARATE OPINIONS
extremely different cars, e9x will knock a 5.0 out of the water on every metric aside from maybe straight line but that's not what the e9x was built for
@@the.mindset.motivator I ended up getting myself a 2017 gt. Drove both, m3 was gonna cost more plus on top of that all the ones I looked at in my affordable price range would require the rod bearing swap (for peace of mind)...m3's also have a wild tax on them here in Australia. Surprisingly the gt is pretty sharp...it's manual, v8, newer and just seemed like a better package for the price...and it's grabber blue 💙
A high revving 8400 rpm redline motorsport derived V8, normally aspirated with 8 individual throttle bodies for instant response & hydraulic power steering for incredible feedback. Defined.
@@DimitrisKoufopoulos haha I own an E90 M3 and I going to keep it forever. I just feel it's an unfair statement to those that own f80/g80. They have their own characters. I just cant get enough of S65 noise though lol
How is it the last real m3... that was the only generation to use a v8. If we are looking at history the e90 is the only one out of place. Especially if we are talking about 3 series because if the M is based off its counterparts, no 3 series ever had a v8. Don't get me wrong, that v8 was a beautiful thing and I wish I saw more of it but technically, I would say the e90 m3 is the bastard child of the timeline
The fact they got rid of the dual clutch for the G80 is mind blowing to me.
Why the zf is a lot faster and smoother

Has anyone gone from a mustang gt to an e9x m3 or vice versa? Looking at getting something fun this year.

I love my E90 M3 but I feel like The Last Real M3 statement has gone a bit too far.
It’s all about fun the title ! Don’t take it personal 😁
