Division 2 - Tips on How to Become a Better PvP Player

In my experience playing PvP in The Division 2, these are some important things to remember when trying it out for the first time, or trying to improve your game. I play mostly Conflict in The Division 2 as opposed to The Dark Zone. I prefer playing PvP against players who are actually looking to PvP.
My main tips are:
Prepare a build that is suitable for PvP. Choosing the right attribute and talents just takes a little common sense
Always be moving. Standing still will make you an easy target
Queue with a friend. Duos are often treated as solos, so you will usually be matched up against a group of solos. Plus, you can communicate freely with each other
Observe everything and everybody around you at all times. This can save your life as well as the lives of your teammates

You also dont need an ALL RED build to be successful. Also, MAX chc isnt necessary either, 53% does just fine then putthe rest into CHD. Sycronicity with your build is more important that ANYTHING after movement and situational awareness. If your new to PvP, start with survival time then add damage as you go. Done right, you will end up with a build that allows you to sirvive long enough to get kills without ending up downed after your first encounter. BREAK YOUR BUILD IN. If your not SHOOTING, your MOVING. Dont be afraid to die... If you play like a coward, youll get focused like one, stand your ground, even when out numbered. Make the enemy play YOUR game, dont play theirs. Know your surroundings. New to DZ? Follow the outside wall: this will cut your surroundings from a 360 peripheral to a 180, placing a wall on 1 side at all times, meaning you have cut the number of directions from which you can be attacked while traveling between landmarks, in half. This also means that you can easily keep the enemy at your front vector, knowing your six is a non issue. With 2 or more players this tactic only gets stronger. Last but not least: GO ROGUE!!

I would argue that your yaahl repair skills chest would fit perfectly into a hazard healer technician build. Perfectly rolled with 100% disrupt resistance your hive could make your nearby teammates fully immune to disrupt which is a huge threat to shield or skill players.

Ah sorry for not speaking clearly. I meant to say that skill haste ( or health, etc) on a DPS build is a wasted attribute. And even if it’s maxed out, it’s not gonna help your build

How viable are skill tier builds in this game? If they’re no good then it’s probably time for me to choose something else.
Skills are very viable in PvP too. But it’s best to use status effects. The drone and turret combo is not good for PvP. You can even have some blues on your build for survivability and still do significant damage.

The main thing for me My SHD is still low and regardless they put dps me with crit damage ect I’m around 450 SHD right now
Ya, if you’re below 750 SHD, you’re definitely at a disadvantage, but you can overcome it. I really wish you could level up your watch in conflict...
Tips on improving aim? I tend to swing past the enemy initially and then get back on target n I win almost 60% of exchanges
I’m planning on making a part 2 soon. In a nutshell, use the left joystick to adjust aim instead of the right. When in cover, we get used to using only the right, but in PvP, when you’re constantly moving, the right will be too sensitive to make precise adjustments

Love conflict but hate to get on a team thats not coordinated.
Ya, communication is so vital in any shooter. I feel like playing with 1, 2 or 3 friends is exponentially beneficial in conflict. A well coordinated group of 4 decent players is really tough for a solo. I strongly believe 4-stacks should only be matched against other 4-stacks

Movement cannot be teached, even at shd level 1500 and knowing perfectly that movement is key I lost 9 1v1 out of 10 because of that. I am like a fawn at night in front a car full lights on 🤣🤣 Nice video 👍
Old habits die hard, my man. For me, I hadn’t played a shooter for a long time before I picked up Div 1, so I started fresh, no habits from other games. Try practicing in the firing range. Use the two target ranges on the right side. Kill one (while strafing) then immediately sprint a few feet to the next aisle and kill the next. Go back and forth. (Does this make sense?) Get accustomed to this movement

too much going in my mind when I stand before another guy and getting shot at, like I know my magazine gonna refill than my armour breaks, but instead on continue to shoot that bastard Im starting to change my mag. Getting confused 😠🤣 or they drop a hive, and I automatically trying to get the fuck out, instead of shooting him. BS. 🤣
