Brianna your instruction is perfect! I have no questions. I haven’t tried EPP but want to try it.
Watched Cindi’s instruction and I’m ready to try it.
    Thank You

I use a brother scan n cut SDX model, it requires an SDX mat. It does not recognize even a brother CM mat. I have seen Facebook “mat hacks” but have not paid attention to know what they are.
I was recommended using “Totally Awesome” cleaner to clean the mats, spritz mat and swish the fibers to remove, don’t scrape , swish

I have an accu-quilt cutter, and a cutter machine is the only way to cut the hexagons for the English paper piecing flower blocks!

You can only do 1 inch size with Acuquilt.

You can actually go to 1.5 inch size too, if you use the fabric cut part to make your papers too

@@user-Tdunham132 …that is incorrect, my die cuts 2 in, 3 inch and 5 inches hexagons!

I have a Sizzix Big Shot hand crank die cutter with a few dies. I do use it for cutting cardstock but I do most epp fabric shapes by hand. I enjoy tracing and hand cutting my fabric. My machine cost around $150. This one is way out of my price range. Fabric hexy's do not need to be perfectly cut. A square with the corners cut will do. You never see the back anyway. I actually bought precut paper hexy's they're relatively inexpensive for several hundred of them which is plenty since you can take the middle ones out of your quilt and continue to use them. I do punch a small hole in the middle of my paper hexy's. I just can't justify buying a huge piece of equipment like this when I can do it pretty cheaply. But thanks for sharing. 💕🧵🪡
