I love when you come up on fire damage. For some reason, the aftermath of a fire creeps me out, and I end up being fascinated by it. I'm not sure, though, that I would be able to hold myself together to explore a building with fire damage.

The building was renovated and converted into apartments in the 1970s. Baltimore City transferred the building to Sojourner-Douglass College in 2004. It continues to stand boarded up and vacant. The building suffered a major fire in 2015 but Baltimore City is continuing to seek a developer with an interest in reusing the building.

Guess the roof fell in after fire and damping down. The basements were creepy in the fact thought someone would turn up at any minute especially when the siren stopped lol! Nice to see more Dan Bell abandoned exploration videos. This place looked pretty creepy. Seems to be a lot of room for any weird person to be hiding there but I understand it may be full of mold and stuff so perhaps it wouldn't be too healthy.
Bring in some cats to get rid of the rats... This building could be put to good use if someone would take the time to fix it. The city should sell places like this cheap on condition they repair them and get them back into use.
It's Baltimore... no one is going to pay to fix that building. You'd never make money off the deal. Even if you did throw away your money fixing it up it would probably end up in the same condition it is now in only a few years.
I took a summer school course there almost 50 years ago. I lived 5 minutes away from there when I was young. Holy moly! What memories and how sad to see it like this. I have goose bumps.

I myself live out in the suberbs, but St. Louis City, North St. Louis County & East St. Louis, IL have a lot to offer before it all gets demolished & redeveloped. Abandoned Baltimore basements are fascinating, they're like mazes, and sections just get abandoned and walled off, with stuff left in them, frozen in time.
Tear them down or make them livable.. Leaving them to rot is irresponsible. Rats will attack if they feel threatened.. They can will bite into a thick leather boot.
