unfortunately a lot people will refund horror games even if they played through it. which is why some people make it so playing through it means they probably cant refund it they make it take like 2 hours to beat and like you get achievements. idk if or how achievements work on keeping people from refunding a game, but could of sworn it was a thing.
I think it's for people who like getting all the achievements, so they play through the game multiple times. I used the same strategy, but it didn't quite work out.
