He was the best player that ever lived. When he was at the top of his game, he could turn half a chance into a high scoring total clearance. It’s so sad he hasn’t kept the distance like O’Sullivan, Higgins and Williams.

It kinda surprises me that most snooker players either retire or so badly lose form between the ages of 45 and 50. You wouldn't think being less physically able would have such an effect, but it does seem to. I guess brain decline is important, motor skills come from the brain afterall. People think Ronnie could potentially play well into his 50s, but I suspect he'll notice a pretty rapid decline in 3-4 years. It seems to happen to _everyone._ No amount of 'talent' can prevent your cells going wrong.
nothing to do with that, its because after being pro for so long they cant be arsed putting the time and practice in like their younger days when you had to practice for 6-7 hours a day.
@@frizzyred1292 So by that reasoning _everyone_ just can't be bothered to practice anymore after 45? Think it through. This isn't unique to snooker, in just about every sport the same thing happens at around about the same age, with few exceptions, whether it be a really physical sport or not. You get another 5 years or so out of the less physical sports but the decline in performance is evident, and it's not just sports.
Why don't they practice on multiple tables simultaneously. Seems such a waste of time for Mark to sit down and wait until the other player finishes their break (and same vice versa).
This guy will make a great player if he keeps on practicing.
He was only world champion 7 times.
Maybe some hope for him yet
So relaxed. I wish S Hendry played like this on the television.x
Enjoyed watching this more than I thought I would. If only Hendry could conjure that form up in competition. He was fluid here.
Happy to see Mark Williams =)
Mark was under pressure on that yellow needing 40 snookers
