2 looks like V, 6 looks like W and 9 looks like F...so...do you just use context or do you sign the word numbers before you sign the number? How do you not confuse it with a letter?
Right, the context and also if it's numbers mixed with letters then I would sign "number" if it's a number and then "letter" if it's a letter to clarify.
I'm a well-advanced person who knows ASL very well despite the fact that I'm a hearing person. This indicates that I'm NOT a fluent signer at all whereas I'm not deaf in real life. Your videos rock big time.

Haha, right! 😅 I know! After years, I finally filmed the alphabet for RUclips last summer. :) This video is also from last summer, I'm cleaning my MacBook out making room for new videos for the new beginner sign language course. :)
It's fine to count 1-5 with the palm facing forward. But when you say how many you have like you have 5 books then you would sign with the palm backward.
This is a repost from Instagram from last summer. :) But I'd still wear makeup for teaching videos though. And actually I never said that I "won't wear again", I just said I didn't like to wear makeup because it's a lot of work taking it off at night and that it's not good for my skin. 😌 Anyways, thanks again for watching :)

Right, if you don't twist the hands like shown in the video then it means "kiss". :)

Understand starts with a fist and then pops the 1.
