Katie Pruitt - "Worst Case Scenario" - Acme Radio Session

Although she grew up in Georgia, songwriter Katie Pruitt has entrenched herself in the Nashville songwriting community for about a decade. Her much-acclaimed debut, Expectations, saw Pruitt navigating the woes of young love and finding her place in an industry often dominated by old white men with dollar signs in their eyes.
Her new record, Mantras, keeps the integrity of her wise-beyond-her-years lyricism while simultaneously ushering in a new era. Expansive, indie-rock-leaning production (courtesy of Collin Pastore and Jake Finch) meet vulnerable, outward-thinking songs that connect Pruitt's voice to the world around her.
Here, a now well-established and confident Pruitt performs her newest release, "Worst Case Scenario," stripped back to just vocals and an acoustic guitar, which we think serves to let her storytelling and "positive mantras" shine through.
