I love this channel, I came just to see if you posted anything new! I’m fixing my H3 and your videos definitely have helped me along the way! Thanks for these awesome videos!
Love your videos, bro. I grew-up in Edmond. Graduated from Memorial in '91. My parents live in Fox Creek (Memorial/Broadway-S.Blvd.). Thanks for sharing these! Blessings!
Thank you. Yes, I know that area of Edmond well. I grew up in Norman but relocated to Edmond when I graduated college. Love it here. Thanks for watching and Blessing to you also.
I just purchased a 2006 also. Nice what you did for your daughter. Hope she is still enjoying it. My question is, what did you use to black out the grill? My chrome is peeling and would like to black it out.
It’s was the satin black at Dip Your Car. They sell the kit. Worked great. We sold the H3 about 6 months after this video because we found an H2 that she fell in love with. The H3 was a great car though. Had a lot of fun with it. Thanks for watching!
@@SimplybEpic Damn! An H2!!! She really likes those big trucks! At least you don’t have to worry about her on the road, just the others 😄. Thanks again for the info.
Yes. That is probably the main reason I let her do It. It’s mass is a good thing to have on your side when a fairly new driver. She still drives it today. Took it to college with her.
I don’t know if y’all still have this, but man. Have fun doing the leaf springs! It was a pain with out a lift. Both of my stock ones busted 2 years apart…shoulda replaced both at once but it’s not fun lol
No sold it last year. Was a great project but daughter wanted an H2 so when one popped up at a Mecum auction for a good price we snagged it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I ordered mine on Amazon. But with the shipping issues over the past year, they are kind of hard to find. Good luck and thanks for watching and commenting.
Yes. That is coming up this next week. The place that installed the radio does tinting but they did not have a “tint person” at the time. Labor shortage. So going into another place soon. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Not a fan of alot of the h2's and h3s. They have to been done right and i like the route your going. Blacking alot out and not making it look like a toy.
i herd that if you run a small torch over faded black plastic, it heats up and brings out the oils and pigment of plastic and makes it like new. now more plastic restorer.
Your a great and patient dad , more power to ya buddy! The h3 came out fantastic upgrading mine too
Thank you. It’s easy when you have great kids. A lot of fun working together on this project. Thank you for watching and commenting.

It was a bedliner kit from Amazon. I think the link is in the video info. Thanks for watching.
Plumber torch very lightly and quickly on any black plastic bumper removes the oxide grayed color!!
Yep, have heard the same thing. Need tried though. Will on another project as we sold this H3 a while back. Thanks for watching!
@@SimplybEpichow come you sold it off? It was absolutely beautiful!

I have the same problem with my front pilars and other “black” items that have faded. Did u dip them or did u use a different technique? Looks great!
Try Cera Kote! Amazing stuff and last
How did you fix the engine?
Complete rebuild. 4 out of the 5 crankshaft bearings were gone. Runs like a dream now. Thanks for watching.
Is that old bones!? In the background
Yep. Video coming out soon about his recovery. Thanks for watching.

Thanks. She wanted it that way so she deserves the credit. Looks pretty cool. Thanks for watching.
How much was this hummer at copart
I believe it was around 4500. Overpaid once I determined the engine was bad but it was a fun project.
Awesome

Try Cera Kote! I’ve tried them all and nothing compares. The torch is an art form and could get blotchy! Wasn’t impressed with the torch
I did it. It doesn’t last as long as you’d hope
🔥
Funny video....
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Well the only thing I can tell you is don't wake her up too early she didn't look too happy LOL
Yes, early mornings are not her thing. Thanks for watching and commenting.
