    You can see clearly that he thinks much more of the audience than he does of the 'hosts'. Ollie was such a genuine bloke that loved to entertain. As he always said "I'm a showman, thats my main role". He always did a great job.

      Ollie did love to drink, but back a few decades ago the audience may have politely chuckled but this bunch is the generation that doesn't want to work, knows no history, doesn't read, feels entitled and thinks they know it all. More than any generation before their rudeness is pretty shocking.

      You’re right. The difference between this show and the other shows he was on, is on this stupid show, they are encouraging him to act up. The other shows were funny because the people were trying to act serious and pretend he wasn’t drunk, which made it funny because of the way they responded to him. This show is just a bunch of me generation kids that wanted him to make a fool of himself. I would of loved it had he gotten sick and thrown up all over that broad asking him to sing.

    The funny thing is that even drunk he can be more articulate then most people of the facebook/ipod generation today. You can tell he is an educated man, a truly colorfull character, with a dangerous edge.

    Reed was a great actor and an utterly honest man. He was also a loyal and steadfast friend to anyone who befriended him. What's more he served his country with distinction and honour. Can the same be said for you?

    This show represented the beginning of the end for British Television, they allowed trendy common trash in to interview in a confrontational way. They are idiots and Oliver pure class. Sadly the world is now full of bland people like the interviewers rather than people like Oliver. Explains why the world of TV is now full of X factor and talentless shows! RIP Ollie

    these kids are truly juvenile--but amazingly he still tried to have fun with them and was his usual hilarious self--you can't make a fool out of somebody like him, he's too sweet--and smart (did you see him smile?) And please come on, there's not anything wrong with a drunk Oliver Reed--some of his best responses to life and people were when he was schnockered

    An alcoholic, an actor, a comedian, a father, a husband, but let's not forget he was a man. This show is disgusting for trying to make a joke out of someone who had more talent in his little finger than any of these clowns had in their entire bodies. It's appalling that the sole purpose of this was to make fun of this brilliant actor and human being. I'm sad for having seen this...

    Olly Reed is a legend. There are more than a few stories of epic drinkers being shamed by Olly's liver. Even Keith Moon could'nt keep up. I would have loved to have had a lock-in with this great fella. I raise a glass, and many more, to his good name.

    Considering his condition (overall as well as in the moment), he actually looks pretty great here for his age (and proximity to death). And even if he's being treated like a spectacle, he seems to be thoroughly enjoying himself.

    It's quite obvious Ollie had a problem with the way he was raised as a child, so turned to alcohol to numb the pain...I just admire him as an actor. Very few people knew the real Oliver Reed. RIP young man.
