    Thanks for this insight. I found that the model from Diodes Inc. seems to be even a transistor level model of the circuit, i.e. maybe more accurate, but possibly slower. It runs fast here though.

    When used in a .subckt the "micro" sign must be replaced with "u". Otherwise thanks for a good model.

    Here is a model by Zetex which is more accurate than TI and ON semi

      This ZHT431 model is more precise than default OnSemi, but it takes more CPU resources to simulate :(

      I don't have LT spice and have been trying to get NG spice to run Fesz's model and many others, but not managed it. This model appears to wor in NG spice inside Kicad 7.0.7 ,
