Great vid! Every person that uses bits needs to have one of these! The Makita Mag Boost is the best bit magnet on the market imo! So handy for any bit over 1". And little tip if you have one of those 1" bit holders that has a weak magnet which many of them do and its shaft is long enough you can slip the mag boost on the shaft and it will boost the magnatism on your bit holder.
I saw the DeWalt video you made and I am instantly curious/excited to check these out!!! I said these because you mentioned the Makita adapter as well… I am with you in the Makita love/hate relationship but I swear by my Makitas!!!! Thanks for the tip! I will definitely check both of them out!!!
Cool little magnet for my bits. Definitely much stronger than just rubbing a magnet on the bits to magnetize them like I do. Looks like you just sold me on this cool little bit magnet. Cheers Clint!
These unfortunately are discontinued by makita. You can still find them included in the gold double end impact bit sets until those are gone. This magnet is amazing. Real nass like
@@ToolReviewZone Clint, I picked up that makita gold socket adapter the other day at homedepot. It's got some weight to it. Haven't put it to the test yet
Great video Clint I definitely will be picking one of these up. Really frustrating when you keep dropping screws. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and videos Rodney
DeWalt makes one that works the same way but it also works on their new flex bits you can slide it forward and it will keep the screw from tilting on the bit even if you slam it down. So nice for fastening subfloor all day the part number is DWA3HLDIR
I definitely need one of these! I have one but it’s a different brand and it doesn’t work well at all. Thanks for sharing I’m going to order one right now
2 me worth every $ that thing is a must 2 every drill bag kit or hard case drill impact combo kit and tool box or bag so when u driving screws it is right handy
funny you should post this video...I was on site yesterday, and dropped a few screws, and was getting ticked off at myself...so I just bought an bit extender, and a set of bits (ryobi kit) ...and the damn thing now drops, releases my screw bits...go figure...LMAO $5 each....can be slotted on multiple bits....yep...it looks like a good fit in my tool box..gonna go check it out at my local HD. cheers
I had a question maybe you could answer for me actually do like that but I'm looking to get a laser level and I've noticed some are green and some are red the color difference is that for indoor or outdoor or it doesn't matter if it's green or red and if so which is the better color
Tool Review Zone okay thank you I did not know that I've been looking at the Bosch laser levels and I noticed that they vary in price big time is it worth spending the money or I just needed to use it once in awhile just to level off countertops cabinets TVs that's something that you could get away with just the cheaper one or should you spend the extra money
Tool Review Zone I guess that's why the red ones are so much cheaper because I was wondering why you can see him for like 50 60 or 120 to 400 dollars now I know why the price varies so much thank you brother I appreciate you taking the time and explain it to me say that I learned something new today
Very nice! Wonder how well that will work on super long driver bits? Usually the bits are magnetized. Just not nearly enough for long screws. Might give it a try! Thanks brother! Like button SMEESHED! 👍👍💪💪
Is there any way us Americans can stop using those crappy Phillips screws for building? I get it when using for hardware or decorative pieces, but not structural. Ever since discovering the superiority of star head, torx, screws, I'll never go back.
Let me know how you like it living. Hey I seen you had a question on the dewalt story about the DSLR but I could not open it it because it was expired. What were you asking and I'll get back to you with an answer
Bob Keller if it’s not working you’re using it wrong. Idk how you could manage to use it wrong but that’s the only possible explanation cuz mine works great

That the same thing I always did William, but like this much better. Thanks for the comment buddy 👊
Love the magnet been using it for awhile now, makes life easier!
Thanks for the feedback Floyd!
I use a cheap magnetic bit holder for my impact driver, and it works too.
second video i watched and this is just classic gold production value! keep em comin haha
Thanks buddy, really appreciate it👊
24,000 baby!! Well done brother! Congrats!!
Thanks Amos!!!!!!👊

Came here from the de Walt video ,
Put the makita backwards and it works just like the de Walt model .
I like my Dewalt magnetic adapter but this is smaller and seems to work nicely. You need to give the gnome a little more time to cool down.
Lmao. That pesky gnome is SOOOO MOODY!!!
@@ToolReviewZone Clint, I picked up that makita gold socket adapter the other day at homedepot. It's got some weight to it. Haven't put it to the test yet
@@johnrice9121 yeah definitely not a cheaply made bit John. Let me know what you think after you use it
Just ordered 2. Thanks for the tip on the tip

Not really a fan of 2” bits but when I do use them I use this little makita thing.
I followed the links but neither place has it available.
I really need this but nobody can imagine it how difficult is to buy this one
TRZ I have that same Makita magnet and I love it. That was a great video thanks for sharing. Peace brother
Thanks Makita Man!!!
Great video clint
I have been looking for this for years! Everyone looks at me like I'm nuts when I ask at any store.
Haha, you can get them at the Deeps. I think I left a link for it in the description too
@@ToolReviewZone thanks. This is a game changer for me. Can't wait

Try Robertson screws and bits.
great video and awseome little tool! gonna get one soon

Just ordered one from Amazon!
Awesome, let me know how you like it Chris!!!
Is this better than the one that comes in the dewalt set?
Yeah Jason, this is my favorite put of all of them
Have been using this for almost a year and I love it. Only downside it’s easy to lose (which I know is ultimately my fault)
I have a couple of these makita magnatizers

Green is 6x brighter than the red. It's still not perfect on bring sunny days, but way better than the red laser.

Does this work with longer bits too? say a 100 or 150mm long bit?
Sure does
I have one in my pocket right now.
Thank you!
I have one. Works great.

Thanks for THE SMEESH bro! You can adjust it up and down on the bit so should work on all of them
@@ToolReviewZone awesome! Just bought a few. Thanks bro!
Dude!! I flipping NEED this!!
It's awesome Mike!
Unfortunately, this is no longer available.
The beginning made me laugh...Except I say F&** you every time the screw slips off.
Just use normal magnetic bit holder.
Not tried but will
Can’t find it. Sad. Cool tool!
I have a link to Amazon in the description for it Tony👊
Love this magnet I have 3 of them
Yeah probably the best one out there
I live in Canada,I don't have that problem

DeWalt has one.
Nice. Must not have it at my store
@@ToolReviewZone it comes in one of the bit packages. It has a yellow cone shape tip with the 1/4" shaft
This is exactly what I was asking about as for which was better, my dewalt kit came with it and a extension that slides out
I'm getting one in the morning
