to be honest, aside from the cheaters on PC... BF1 i think is still the better game.
I recently played Bf1 since a while and thought "Wow, why did I stop playing this masterpiece?". Definitely a good game 👌
Bring asia servers alive on bf1 console.

I'm happy that BF1 still has active servers these days but boy do I miss the Standard Issue Rifles game mode!

I actually booted up BF1 on Xbox a few days ago and found a rifles only server. Funnest match I’ve ever had!
There are a few servers that still run it sometimes, at least in my region
Some days I spend more time in the pre-game waiting for enough players to start than the game itself. Surprisingly fun though 😅
Back to basics and standard issue rifles were my favourite game modes in BF1. It's a shame that these modes are basically dead and only come through rotation a couple times a year.
I would actually love to take part in a BF1 game that is only bolt action rifles.
Exactly, I'm sick of all these fully automatic weapons that, while they did exist at the time, were very rare.
would be cool if they did a project reality type thing with BF1
its a game called "beyond the wire" the same people who made post scriptum and squad, project reality inspired squad
@@ParkerK8 No, Beyond the Wire is in an entirely different engine. Project Reality and the newly launched Battlefield 3 Reality Mod are both on the same engine as the games they're trying to make more realistic and tactical. The point of that is to keep the environmental destruction, good mechanics, and aesthetics of the base game. And so you dont have to build an entire game from scratch.

I've been thinking it would be great if after the game is put to sleep like how bc2 has that a community made version of the game will be made that incorporates not only the common balance changes that most servers already make but will actively fix many of the bugs that plague the current version of the game. I think it's cool when games that have long since been abandoned are taken up by community projects and given new life.
bf1 still absolutely slaps. one of the best fps games, also an epic atmosphere
One thing I didn’t like is that they didn’t change the standard issue rifle for the Italians to either the carcano or the vetterli that came to the game in dlc

I always wished that they added BOTs to BF1 for games modes like standard issue were actually able to be played when ever you wanted.
They has bots working pre release but they just never added them
People can argue about the eras, the weaponry, and all the things that change in each bf title, but no one can argue that this is the most cinematic BF game. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll get anything like it from Dice ever again
I wish we had gotten a trench game mode, where it’s more like a maze and the objective is to dig new pathways and the team with the most trenches wins
God Tier Game. The only stopping me from playing BF1 is that I had no friends. :(
Here me out after being alive for awhile or being near a explosion your gun becomes covered in mud what if the automatic guns jammed because of the mud it would make it harder to use these guns and would balance out the gun pool
The campaign mode is also one of the best single player experiences I have ever had.
Italy using the Russian 1895 Winchester as standard issue.......suuurreeeeeee
There are a few oddball choices for the mode because of some missing guns in the game. Another example is that the Americans use the experimental semi-auto Springfield 1903 instead of the traditional rifle (the non-scoped 1903 never getting added to the game still bothers me to this day haha). DICE later added the Carcano in a DLC but never updated this game mode's settings to make use of it.
It's crazy going from this epic game to bf2042 😐
The atmosphere of bf1 is unmatched
If you want this experience in a standalone game Isonzo just came out and has a lot of those old battlefield looks and vibes and even has a good amount of load outs to pick from and it’s cheaper than bf2042
The greatest mode in BF1 would be Hardcore Back to Basics 😀

They have the Winchester Russian contract, 1895! That is one of my favorite rifles not specifically the Russian version. Just that rifle in general!
I bought the game on PS4 the day it came out, played it for many weeks and that was it. I, ever since I redownloaded BF1, realize how good the game was and still is. Easily my favourite Battlefield with Battlefield 4 and 5.
This is making me want to redownload BF1 again, it's so much fun but trying to look for servers without hackers isn't worth it
If you play on community servers there is noobs using cheats
Get a ps4/ps5... Sadly pc games are filled with cheaters in pretty much every game
@@MrMaxiARG Already have it on XBox, that's where I got it first actually. I don't play there much anymore because of PC, and I've grown too used to mouse and keyboard.

Back to basics operation was some of the most fun I’ve had in the game. Especially Fao Fortress

i love using bolt actions with the irons feels nice
As much as I crave for bolt actions to be the standard in BF1, removing SMGs makes it kinda boring. I'd opt to keep about 20-30% of the unrealistic shit just to keep variety.
I still played bf1 on pc at asia server. And sometimes i got this kind of server, its really fun and felt like an authentic ww1
I had found some servers on xbox last year but they seem to be gone now. Just the regular DICE servers. At least I've never seen hackers.

I miss the rush game mode, on xbox at least, it's impossible to find servers playing anything other than conquest or the occasional tdm

Actually the hud version of back to basics is in rotation a lot and you can find it every so often if you auto join an operations match every so often

Remember playing this game mode the week of the last DLC update was epic sad that there’s no servers anymore 🙃

Ah ballroom blitz. Great map.
Battlefield 1 had the scale and epicness. Verdun had the historical accuracy. For me, Beyond the Wire is the golden child of Bf1 and Verdun, combining vehicle, artillery, and infantry while still giving fairly realistic trench maps and using real WW1 weapons. It deserves more love.

It’s very realistic. Don’t ever put me in a situation.
My problem with this mode the vehicles are disabled and that really pisses me off in operations as attacker cause we need those in some maps to push cause the fucking gadgets and grenades spam is still there

if you do some digging, about 80 percent of BF1's arsenal was used in one form or another during WW1. WW2 games seem to add far more automatic weapons than were actually present yet we never really see anyone complain.

Standard issue and they gave the Italians a Russian copy of a north American lever action rifle instead of the Carcano. Ok game.
My God , the amount of cool guns that were not added to this game just so they could add garbage submachine guns and self-loading rifles that never saw the battlefield or never even could have makes me hate this game , even if I enjoy it .
Beyond the Wire is what fixes me .
