2:41 The Pieper revolver carbine is a forgotten weapon for a reason--it may be light and handy, but the cartridge it fires is 8mm Pieper and it uses the same gas system as the 1895 Nagant revolvers. One source says the cartridge was loaded by Remington at 106 grains at 1100 FPS, so not too awful for a pistol rounds, but not too great in a carbine, especially not compared to the kinds of Winchester rifles that would have been common in the Mexican rural areas where the only users--Mexican Rural Police--would have operated. Much less any of the machine guns and proto-assault rifles floating around in Battlefield's alternate WW1.
Well, the Groza is different. Base on the AK variant but in the bullpup way. Two versions in BF4, the Groza-1 had a foregrip and only used 7.62x39mm M43, while the Groza-4 with the suppressor is in 9x39mm Subsonic.
The Madsen is actually king in mid range! Do use it more! yeah, I don't play BF much but I saw the recoil on that gun even with the scope and instantly thought it would be great for long sightlines. It's not meant to get right up close and shred people, it's meant to lock down an open area from a vantage point.
Despite what you say they still did this gun so dirty this could have really been used as a light machine gun considering it’s ammo capacity and actual weight since it weighed about the same as a BAR and the caliber being roughly the same size (the Madsen used 8x58mmr Danish Krag and the Bar used 7.62x63)

@@the47thsoldier67 that "trash bullet deviation" is one of the biggest reasons why BF1 is such a well balanced game. I suggest watching Enders deep dive into the differences between the gunplay of BF1 and BFV and why BF1 is superior.
@@Ashar121 What do you mean by “they tried to have ranged damage drop off”? Every gun has ranged damage drop off, with SMGs starting off at ~25 damage dropping to 12 damage. The Madsen meanwhile drops to 18 damage which, in BFV at least, is quite hard hitting compared to pretty much every other automatic weapon that isn’t the Chauchat or the Breda. SMGs have horrible damage beyond ~20 meters and typically get outgunned beyond that point. How TBAG didn’t rip apart that Medic using the ZK, an SMG that has horrible damage output without light bolt, is a wonder. EDIT: What I can say is that there’s definitely ranged superiority in BFV, it’s just not as immediately noticeable as previous BFs. If it were raw DPS, the Madsen would’ve won instead of it being a draw. TBAG clearly missed several shots while the Medic hit just about every single one, so the fact that it still ended in a draw should say something.
Ja, it's one of my main guns, if only because I have terrible recoil control. I actually win almost all encounters with it if I spot the enemy before he spots me. Plus, the 40 round mag lets you laserbeam and can potentially take out multiple enemies.
When I started playing bfv recently I started using weapons that I never used before, one of them being the madsen mg, at first I found it weird but after a few minutes I was outgunning everyone, including zk's and mp40's, it is a very fun gun to use really

Some guns requires special play style, i.e. RSC SMG or Pieper M1893 (BF1). Like all weapons, each one does have its own Pros/Cons which comparing to other weapons might change even more (especially when you compare weapons from different classes/types). That's something that not everyone really think about it when they pick up guns. For example, I like to use the Parabellum MG14/17 (BF1) because of the high rate of fire (which can suck with accuracy (cons) but can stop the entire squad or two from pushing at you (pros) at close-mid ranges). TBH I don't see too often people using it (people more likely use either MG15 nA or broken M1917 MG because of better recoil control/accuracy and med-long range effiency). The Madsen LMG is actually a rather legendary design. It's a very early LMG design but it also has seen A LOT of service to my understanding. There's even footage of a Brazillian Police Officer within the past 10 years or so using one on-the-move. A MADSEN. Which is from like 1905 or something crazy like that. No, I just checked, it was adopted in 1902. Must have been designed right around 1900. Epic.
Fun fact: the VCAR irl, the Kel-Tec CMR-30 is as useless as it is in the game since it fires .22 WMR rounds, in which they are not recommended for combat use.
I dunno. Other than the Pieper, simply because I don't use non MG weapons on Support, all the firearms listed I use regularly, do quite well with, and am pretty happy with using.

I wouldn't call me Madsen useless. Its most consistent weapon in damage in the game. Very accurate and good at range, especially with the 40 round mag, bipod and scope
The Madsen Gun was made by the Danish in 1886 i believe. It has a very unique style of action. being able to load a full size rifle round in half the space. the "magazine" is more or less a spring loaded hopper. all it does it force feed bullets into a tray, as the gun cycles it literally throws the bullets into the action. the spent casing come out the bottom of the gun. The madsen was the first "LMG" in a world of HMG's. it was chambered in every popular round you can imagine. 8mm mauser, 30-06, 303 british, 7.62x54R. it was a commercially produced gun that never actually got officially adopted by any military. however the germans used a large amount of them organizing regiments with them until they ran out in the early war. the Japanese bought a load of them and used them to great effectiveness in the russian japanese war. it was truly a remarkable design for its time. being a top fed machine gun, it was really meant for trench warfare. to keep you as low as possible. i use to own one of these in 8mm mauser. the whole barrel and action cycle together as 1 giant piece inside the barrel shroud. originally the gun required a muzzle booster to help the cycling. its quite remarkable how the danish came up with this LMG during a time period when we really hadnt even figured out how to make a good semi auto handgun. Since the madsen shoots from a closed bolt instead of an open bolt, its one of the few machine gun kits that are allowed to be rebuilt here in the USA after being fully converted to semi auto only. this gun weighs a ton. you would NEVER think of attempting to shoulder this gun. you can shoot it from the hip or under your arm but shouldering would be a terrible idea. also all the madsens came with carry handles on the barrel. and the magazines never held 40 rounds. sorry but they just didnt make them that way. the one in the game is giant compared to what they were actually like. and not sure how they actually would have mounted a scope on the madsen. i highly doubt that was a common let alone actually done. miss my madsen gun. sometimes i wish i never sold it.
The Pieper Revolver Carbine, in my opinion (not like it matters) is actually a really good gun especially when on defence, since support can also have it, it turns the support from a same spot multiple kills, to an actual supportive role that can push with their team and help them in more ways then just kills, instead of just watching the flank for nothing to happen and tankers that can't have a good primary (the default guns just don't really work with it) the Carbine can actually help u escape with ur life as u now have a decent primary instead of a trash secondary, and with the Carbine now the old tank guy can advance with his team instead of just reseting. I give the Carbine a 9/10, I would give it a 10/10 is classes like medic could use it
Yo tbag, here is a random fact: the mars pistol is actually a bad gun irl. Due to how much kick it has firing it once feels like breaking your hand and those who ever fired it quoted "never wanted to fire it again"

Good ol' times when you used to make these
1:36 WWIII be like:
“But this one have a permanently fixed suppre-“
**dude screaming by suffer of war and freaking dies in front of him**
“Oh well, he’s dead! ANYWAYS....”🤣
Epic.
Playing MW2 (the OG) soundtrack over BF1... very nice!
Fun fact: the VCAR irl, the Kel-Tec CMR-30 is as useless as it is in the game since it fires .22 WMR rounds, in which they are not recommended for combat use.
Yeah, it's really weird that they made what is essentially an underpowered MP7 into a DMR.
1:22 the Top Gun Advertisement with Tom Cruise showed up.. what a perfect timing 😂😂
I dunno. Other than the Pieper, simply because I don't use non MG weapons on Support, all the firearms listed I use regularly, do quite well with, and am pretty happy with using.
I like spamming the other pistol carbines at close range since they don't start off inaccurate like the lmgs do
@@encross8058 When we are playing CQB maps, and we are highly mobile, I've been known to run the pistol carbines. Usually that's when we are playing around objectives, but not necessarily *in* objectives. Flares, dummies, etc.
@@FokkeWulfe yeah
the pieper is actually cool when you begin to use it on the hardcore server, very satisfying
funny tidbit about that Madsen gun... "Who would ever use this thing..." Brazil. matter of fact, Brazil STILL USES THEM TODAY. it's the standard armament of their Military Police.
It's pretty wild seeing videos of them carrying a 110 year old machine gun in the favelas.
4:50 That medic COULDN'T give you health because he wasn't running the med kit. He was running the Syringe and Rifle Grenades most likely.
Battlefield stil my fav military shooter and Bf3 and Bf4 looked so good I had so much fun playing these and it took awhile to level up making you play it more for longer and Physics was pretty good to
I love watching him try the weapons he doesn’t use just to realize they aren’t bad. He’s running the peiper and calling it trash just to not do bad with it because it isn’t actually a bad gun.
Basically difference between Groza A1 and Groza A4 is A1 is basically a bulpup AK, A4 is more of a bulpup AS Val. With the A1 using 5.45x39 and the A4 using 9x39SP, which is why is has a suppressor. As it's a subsonic round.
0:30 you literally shot everywhere he wasnt😂
I wouldn't call me Madsen useless. Its most consistent weapon in damage in the game. Very accurate and good at range, especially with the 40 round mag, bipod and scope
The madesen MG is actually frome WW1
yes i want the commander mechanic back it was really cool to be honest
fun fact : the madsen in bfv is actually a dutch madsen. it's recognisable by its very curved magazine.
Oh man, that Madison gameplay just made me remember why I never want to touch that game after the last ttk patch.
I give the Carbine a 9/10, I would give it a 10/10 is classes like medic could use it
I just like it cause’ it looks cool to me and it’s the only Belgian gun in the game as far as I know.
Where my every door in battlefield 5 *TBAG*
Yo tbag, here is a random fact: the mars pistol is actually a bad gun irl. Due to how much kick it has firing it once feels like breaking your hand and those who ever fired it quoted "never wanted to fire it again"
Glad you didn’t use kolibri as most useless gun in bf1. As I’m sure you know it is quite op.
It should be nerfed. That guaranteed 21 shot kill completely breaks the game
The madsen is actually one of the best guns in bfV. Once you get used to the recoil, and with x3 scope, you’ll be unstoppable at mid-range
you have NO IDEA how excited and happy i got when i saw you posted this video, keep up the epic work buddy :)
3:40 Guy: *misses half of his shots*
"WhY diD tHaT tAkE sO LoNg?"
1:52
"I really dislike suppressors in this game, because it turns bullet velocity into 5 centimeters per year"🤣
1:18
Lost the opportunity to scream "BANZAIIIIIII" at the top of your lungs.
I think the pieper isn't that bad, I can do very well with it, at close ranges it can do incredibly high DPS
6:29
Tbag, every light machine gun in Battlefield 5 has a bipod
About the Groza - you have bullpop configuration AK and the silenced version is like VAL but also again in bullpop configuration.
Love this types of videos man hope we get more. Maybe Playing with the most firerate Guns in different Battlefield games?
And ofc the lowest
The Pieper M1903 is actually an oversized Revolver
I just wanted to say thank you for your great content 💪🏻
4 Battlefield Gameplays in 1 video is a big joy for me ☝🏼😄
Even with 2042
I like the commander and I hope we get this feature in the future but in my opinion the commander should have more influence on the game
Glad to see an entire video that was made just because the vcar has no point.
(Bad buff concept: always accurate within 125 meters and full auto (240 per minute))
Bro, quit hating on BFV, it’s not terrible anymore and is all around a solid battlefield game
lol no its not the game still could use sum improvements
It’s not a true TBAG video without hearing neebs say “BATTLEFIEEEELL- * boom *”
Tbag: "season 1 is not too far away..."
Bf2042 launch date: Nov 12 2021
FINELLY !!! BF series come back🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hi keep upp the great work, groeten uit Den Haag!!!!🇳🇱💪🏻
For the next video do, “Playing with my most useless friends in different battlefield games” a way to joke with and roast them
Bro that groza-1 takes me back I remember back in the day dropping 104 kills with 3 deaths I still have the picture of that to this day it was on tdm max tickets on the map zavod 311 bro I miss bf4 so much
1:37 Did I hear a neebs gaming reference
I’m just gonna say, in BF1, I actually really like the Pieper. It’s not a Hellriegel or an M1917 MG, but it’s really enjoyable once you get used to it
tbag : *kamikazes tank*
youtube : here have a mac n cheese ad
You should post a video of you doing commander mode. Even just a few short because I know it's pretty boring to watch
This remind me of so many memories
Finally a legend series is back not legendary cause the legendary series is the worst to best.
TBag: plays bf1
Also TBag: Calls it bfv in chapters
The Groza 1 was added because they wanted a AKM in the game so they added in the bullpup version made in the 90s
The Madsen is actually really good
