Damn, I’m sorry to hear that man. Highliner, hopefully I’ll still be able to get out with them throughout the summer, just not enough trips getting booked for me to be able to make the run to SD all the time unfortunately.
you should make more baits and fish with em. I really liked seeing those make to catch. marling baits and all those other bait making RUclipsrs only fish for bass, so it was cool seeing you fish for some bigger pelagics
10:23 -- What is that glove on his right wrist? I'm looking for one of those that's actually good. My "Thumbdinger" glove (similar to this one) broke on the first trip out and cost $20... shitty.
Nice man. Would be rad to see local fishing like that again. Hopefully the rumors are true and El Niño is just around the corner. Would love to see what kind of fishing we’ll be able to get into with this new El Niño!
@@Dirty.Hookers Yes I agree. I think it’s 4 hours if San Quintin. Before Memorial Day the water is too cold. Second week of June the water gets too warm for the 40# plus yellows. Not to mention the weather. July the yellows are 200’ feet down where the cooler water is and it ain’t fun to be pulling on a yellow that deep. August the weather is horribly hot. I stay at Casa Diaz because they keep their spots to themselves. There’s a rock down there they call the “skull.” I fish 60# on a 3/0 with a mackerel, you catch your own bait there. Like I said my biggest yellow was 48# and it towed the panga. Coming down the hill you can see horse head island. Leave 3am while the desert is still cool. Spend the night in Ensenada and go home rested. Something to plan for next year’s Memorial Day holiday.
@@Blueskies-h3e all great info. Thank you bro! Might have to try it out one of these times, my bday always falls on memorial weekend, so this could be a fun one to try out
This was this exact week of last year. July 7 - 13. September is a great time of year to go. A lot of bigger model fish like 20-40 lbs that time of year, and good opportunity for offshore fishing as well
Dude I can not wait to get back!!!
Right! Every year gets more and more exciting!
Fire bite dude! Get emm
Such insane fishing out there!
Yeah Boi 🤙🏻
Yessir!

Thanks brotha, I really appreciate the support and kind words. Tight lines man👊
More Yellows in a week than most will ever get in a lifetime
It’s honestly incredible how good the fishery is out here without commercial and sport boats hitting them everyday!

I would definitely like to, just haven’t had the time to get back in the work shop lately.
I’ll try to do 1 or 2 before the year is over

The old days we would catch 70 forces a day the vagabond Pont Loma

I wish there was a plane available to fly to the Bay of LA Ray.
That would be awesome! But honestly the drive there is half the experience!
