One of the reasons I'm willing to give this show a chance... I loved her in Revenge!
I love that they are diving into a character of a nurse practitioner instead of it all being about the doctors!
Except her role on the show is more of a nurse and not a nurse practitioner. An NP doesn't take orders from the doctor, draw blood or administer basic medications.
She is the reason I am going to give this show a chance. Her work in Revenge was just astounding.
Emily is a great actress she's one of my favorites :)

They have really altered their marketing game plan in favour of all things Emily Vancamp. You can see after the first Trailer wasn't received as well as they'd liked they realised a selling point was her and her fan base. Rightfully so she is a tremendous actress. The only fear now is whether or not they've shown us all there is to know about this character. Between the Trailer and these interviews have they overplayed there hand and shown us too much. will we be disappointed because she isn't as integral as we've been led to believe? i hope not
justmyopinion 1 of course the selling point is her. She was the lead in her own show and she was in Captain America Winter Soldier. Anyone who thought the other people were worth leading this show was an idiot.
She is a horrible actress. She is whisper-talking her way again. Zero emotional range. I bet that's the reason she never gets a decent role at Marvel.

Oh, I'm sorry that I can't ignor as you her constant whisper-talk and the lack of charisma. I watched Revenge. Not all, cause it was unbearable to do with such a boring actress in the lead role. She is cute, but beauty is not enough for all of us to call someone a great actress.
lizapb her resume speaks for itself. She's been co-lead or lead of of at least 3 multi-season shows and supporting character of multiple movie franchises.
The show doesn't look that good but I'm only gonna watch it cause of Emily VanCamp
Actually she’s the weakest part about the show. The rest of the characters are great though!

They have a 14 episode s1 order and they are filming or will be soon episode 10.

I wonder who questioned Emily playing a nurse? Her fans? Yep. I've read to many comments putting nurses down it became sickening.. And for fans you guys sure do question Emily's choices.
