    Unpopular opinion: I actually don’t mind what they did with Ali’s character. I understand the criticism that they made her soft but she grew up, felt bad about her past, tried to be a better person, but still had moments where she would revert back to being mean and manipulative.
    I’m glad she had some growth, but at the same time, her more mature self is not a complete departure from her as a child and teen.
    Congrats on the new place btw!

      I’d be more ok with Ali if they kept a bit more of her edge. She was absolutely horrible but those same traits kept her alive. Of course I’d prefer if she just stayed a manipulator lol

      @@Dead_ends yes per dialogue on the show and interviews conducted during the airing of season 4, he was writing the book to find out what happened to Alison. He thought one of the girls did it originally after research he thought Spencer, Mrs D, and Cece were somewhat involved.

      O yes that’s why he eventually passes the book to Aria since it might have clues

      @@Dead_ends he wasn’t writing it be a he was in love with Alison. They weren’t in love.

      I mean you don’t investigate someone’s murder if you don’t care about them, but writing the book was definitely more self centered
