Delicious NEW MEXICAN FOOD! 🌯 + Hike to Crazy Tent Shaped Rocks ⛰ (Albuquerque New Mexico)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 13 апр 2017
- Today we ate the best burrito Albuquerque had to offer! 🌯 Then we checked out huge tent-shaped rocks which form from the erosion of 6-7 million year old volcanic rock and ash 🌋😮
Oh! And we took a little visit to Walter White's house from Breaking Bad to say hi 😎

Ahhhhhhhh I love New Mexico it's such a great state
You had me at the burrito
Great video guys
+Stephen Halbhuber it really is, and a bit underrated I think! - Eric
Stephen Halbhuber thank u
That breakfast burrito looks amazing! :D
+Chiappi it was spicy, but dang delicious!
Next time you guys are in ABQ you must have a meal at Barela's Cafe in the Barelas Community. Delicious New Mexico cuisine. Just like Grandma's cooking.
Sounds delicious 👍
Love the new vid! Having an "Endless Adventure" marathon today and watching from the beginning! Love your vlogs - so inspirational! Keep it up and thanks for doing what you do!
+Keola R. Longo thanks so much! Your comment made our day 😄
i love how y'all make even the most simple of foods seem like the most delicious gourmet meal. I have experimented with so many dishes because of y'all.
+Felicia Divina Carrasco really? That's awesome! We definitely try to get outside our comfort zone when we try new foods. So glad to hear you're doing the same!
In Albuquerque, the best sunsets aren't viewed looking west toward the setting sun. They're best viewed looking east toward the Sandias and the pink "watermelon" color that washes over them giving them their name.
I cringed so hard when they said carne alovada😂
I cringed when she said pork stewed in chile juice lol
Riiight.... because you can pronounce words in other language perfectly.
@@shaund5175 chile juice. whaaaaaat?
Hahaha I know! I am like dude are you kidding me? Alovada!!!
@@j_alcaraz_c1530 Dude even us White Native New Mexicans can say it correctly lol.
Abq represent, I live there!!!
In New Mexico you habe to ask not to put chilli pretty much, everywhere pretty much gives you chilli without you ordering it
It's"Chile" dude..
Haha I was just about to say... Any native New Mexican swears up and down that it's "chile". "Chili" is Texas garbage
Haha...Just thought I would inform...Great video btw
You're fake news, or live on the east side north of Alameda. Your dads probably a dentist...
All your videos are very informative..and the food looks so yummy
If you come again you need to try SAGGIOS PIZZA most amazing Chicago style pizza, local place or or or!!! ALLSUPS BURRITOS!!
Allsups burritos? How about a Lota Burger Green Chile cheeseburger. That's a New Mexico must have, too.
I just found your channel and I think I've watched about 10 videos in a row! I love your adventures.
Balloon Fest there in October every year. We were there in 2000 loved it ! 😎
Oh cool! The starting point for the balloons was just a few streets down from where we were staying. We'll definitely have to make it back there in Oct one year 🎈
The Southwest is like no other in America! That’s for sure! I loved your japan vlogs you did a month or two ago and thats when I started following! I been watching your “endless adventure” since! I finally looked at your past vids and saw this one! I am a New Mexican born and raised so I was so excited you have traveled through my home state before! Look forward to many and all your coming videos !
It's so nice to see your vlogs! Keep it up!
+Kiss MarceLL glad you're enjoying them!
I had no idea the U.S. has places like this. We were in Cappadocia Turkey and it was similar. Its so amazing and how cool nature creates things like that. Loved it!! -Ash
For real, it was like being in another country!
Loving the videos. Still playing catch-up. The rock formations you visited in this one are amazing!
AGHH, amazingly quality content and you guys are super duper cute. Excited to be on this adventurous journey with yall and may more and more subscriptions head your way!
+Kenny Nguyen thanks so much!
Those rock formations really rock!amazing.
Sweet vlog!! Eric, be careful you goofball ✌🏼😊 The Monument was so beautiful; perfect place to hike. Stay safe and see you on the next adventure 🤓🌄I cannot wait to see your vlogs from Colorado! Hope you enjoy... and WELCOME!!
+Kerrie Wheeler I'm trying 😂 glad you enjoyed coming along with us! - Eric
I'd never heard of those rocks. So beautiful. Thanks for sharing that with us.
I'm trying to pace myself on binge watching your videos, I don't want them to end! Lol!
hah, you rock!
Only came across this channel a few days ago but you're great. Nice couple
+Joker thanks, so glad to have you along for the adventure!
Wow ! Have to try it
You guys are Amazeballs. Love it. Keep going.
Thanks so much!
Huge yummy breakfast burrito!
you make some of the most detailed travel blogs that are really enjoyable i think you will get a bigger following soon
Thanks so much! We try really hard to capture the details of all the places we visit and give you guys as much info as possible. So glad it's been showing :)
You all did a great job. This video made me feel nostalgic and I live 5 minutes away.
How can you guys make the new videos more and more awesome than the last?😍 Totally in love with the sceneries in this vid! And the burrito!! How do you even make the simplest of foods look so mouth-watering?! Seriously, you guys rock!
Thanks so much Erica! Not sure, we're just going with the flow and hoping not to screw it up too much 😂 glad you're enjoying our videos!
The Endless Adventure Of course! You guys have never failed to amaze me in your every single uploads! Loving each more and more♡
If you gonna eat food in New Mexico be prepared for spice and more spice we love Chile gotta handle the heat if not well you know the rest. Great video guys keep it up.
This video had everything ... delicious food, beautiful scenery, and Eric's continuing battle with gravity. ✅
+The Thrifty Anglomaniac thanks! Me and gravity don't always see eye to eye but she definitely keeps me grounded ✌️- Eric
That burrito looks so Good!!!
I'm missing home, I lived in abq all my life and I moved, so definitely seeing others enjoy new Mexican food is great
The walk looked really nice. Those rocks are amazing! We were super confused about the sweet bread thing. We totally think of something else when we hear that term (heart and throat sweet breads haha). Nice vlog.
+Chasing a Plate yeah, it's definitely a different kind of sweat bread 😂 it's actually "Mexican sweat bread" I think - Eric
haha totally! We're in Mexico right now so will look into this (because it looked amazing!). Looks like they're called Conchas. Thanks! Thomas
you know I click before I even watch you because I know it's going to be good great job u 2
Same here 😁
Looks like a really interesting and beautiful place!
Love seeing austin! I'd love to go to a gig there.
A nice hike is necessary after a delicious breakfast like that. Well done!
We definitely agree👌
Glad you guys didn't end up like James Franco in 127 Hours!
+Nico Cuevas it had crossed our minds 😂
Your videos are delightful 😉
Thanks so much!
Great stuff. I often feature downtown in my vlogs too because it's so colorful.
Thanks! Ya, the downtown area was awesome. We hadn't heard much about Albuquerque before we visited and we were very pleasantly surprised :)
The earth does such cool things on its own. Love those rock formations.
I loved Colorado. We went to Colorado Springs a couple years ago. We took a train up Pikes Peak, went to Garden of the Gods, and Cave of the Winds. So much fun.
+Jessica Shook right? We'll have to hit up Colorado Spring next time we're in the area, sounds awesome!
I love your video. Frontier has like a chile stew you can add to the top of your burrito as well, it’s soo good. I love frontier but I prefer Golden Pride breakfast burritos😁also you should have taken the paved route, and drove to the crest of the sandia mountains. I love going there especially after the sun goes down (they do have some walking trails at the top as well) I’m glad you all enjoyed yourself, I need to checkout the trail that you guys hiked.
I've never clicked so fast!! ❤️ u guys
+Yoanna Miteva that's awesome! So happy you're enjoying our videos ❤️
The Endless Adventure I am indeed!! Thank you for sharing your amazing adventures with all of us😻✨ You've got one true follower here he he 🤗
+Yoanna Miteva so happy to hear that!! Glad to have you along with us 😄✌️
Loved watchin you guys in Europe. Both beautiful people. Love from Australia xox
Thanks! We had an amazing time in Europe, can't wait to get back over there soon!
The burrito looked amazing.
Wow the hike looks so much better than anything the U.K. can offer! Love the Breaking Bad house!
You have a talent for finding antfarms :D I've heard of this sight, and I'm glad for you hiking it. Actually, I've found out what has caught me in your channel: you kinda make me believe I'm there with you, and not just reporting 'oh, we've seen this too'. Keep it up! :)
That's always our hope when we make the vlogs and we're super excited you feel that way 🙌❤️
Another great adventure. The little dog looked disappointed with the salad option.
You guys should get your own tv show. Another great vlog and as ever, I'm as jelous as hell :) i want that life!
Haha we would love that! We could afford to do so many more food vlogs 😂
Loved the vlog!! We're going to Albuquerque soon! Where is the sunset spot y'all ended up going to?
SnugLifeTV go anywhere in NM and you'll see a bomb sunset.
Lovely Alberquerque
Might want to invest in some hiking boots (merrell or keen) to protect your ankles and give you some traction. Makes a big difference when you are hiking rougher terrains. I got a pair of Merrell's on eBay for a fraction of the price. 😉 Love the videos!
Hoodoos forever! Yes I admit to having more than a little travel envy, I've been sat in one place for over 6 years now, a small rural hamlet in central PA USA. Gotta get my travel shoes and movement mojo back again somehow! Traveling Mercies you two!
We definitely know the feeling. We lived in the same apt in SF for 5 years and were going stir crazy. Admittedly, we maybe went a bit extreme by selling everything and hitting the road, haha! But adding in a little adventure is never a bad idea :)
stylish - u both rock
+Wampor thanks 😎
Dream Lake in the Rocky Mountains is a cool hiking spot.
Spirit Hound Distillers is a great spot with friendly staff.
just some suggestions on places to hit up. can't wait to see your next blog. :D
Awesome, thanks for the recommendations! We were just looking into Dream Lake 😍
Frontier Restaurant is across the street from the UNM (University of New Mexico). The burritos there are absolutely delicious. New Mexicans love their chile it's so good. The Cinnamon rolls are good for the first couple of bites - they're way too sweet for me. Tent Rocks is a great place to go. Thanks for sharing.
I just moved from Santa Fe, Nm! This made me miss my home. The food and culture are amazing in NM!! Love your videos💗
Awesome! We loved NM!
kay duran the Los Alamos lab is looking to reopen the plutonium pit production soon at Los Alamos. They were working on a transition to solar but then the weapons makers got the upper hand. will not be a good place with a mistake. they will be making bomb pits with consequences. See the youtube videos on the nuclear tests of the 50's, 60' s and realize that men and now women will be in position to use them. If a 5 megaton goes off at the labs do you take a go bag or the body bag?
Hope you enjoy your stay here in Colorado!
Thanks! ✌️
That place is pretty good. If you want some more New mexican food, The Range Cafe in abq is amazing, Triple b's on southern and unser in Rio Rancho is some of the best bbq in the state. And Little Anitas can be found throughout New Mexico with some of the most delicious New Mexican food you can ask for.
Frontier is about 2 miles from me. I love this state. Ive been to Tent Rocks. It's the perfect 1/2 day hike.
Viva New Mexico
The second video of you guys I've watched where Eric almost slipped with the camera! It really could've gone really bad... I guess it's gotta be true when you say, "I twist my ankle every time we hike" 😂 be careful you guys!
Haha ya, I'd say it's about an 80% likelihood that he'll twist it on a hike....but recently it's definitely been closer to 100%. Poor guy! Luckily no cameras or equipment have been hurt in the process! Just his pride and ankle 😂
You should buy some good hiking shoes or boots with ankle support. I once hiked in sneakers and boy was that a bad idea, twisted my ankle a couple times and fell a couple times too, lol, so learned my lesson.
+Lilly Eve definitely, got my eye on a couple pairs!
These tent rocks reminds me of the Piramides de Zone near lago d'iseo Italy.
Cinnamon roll covered in melted butter...heaven!! LOL! I didn't even know that the tent-shaped rocks existed. So cool!! If you are ever travelling Canada's East Coast check out Hopewell Rocks in the Bay of Fundy. Remarkable rock formations also formed from erosion. Not volcanic, but still really cool to visit. They are huge and breathtaking in person. :)
The Bay of Fundy is the best name ever! The hopewell rocks look so similar to the tent ones...how cool! We'll definitely need to investigate in person soon 😊
Burritos are part of mexican cuisine. the hispanics that have been living her for the last 400 years, and the native americana who have lived here for thousands of years, have only recently began eating and making burritos.
erosion takes many forms so very interesting
I traveled from Spokane to Oklahoma in an r.v with family. We stopped in Santa Rosa. There was nothing there! Anyway had biscuits and gravy in every city. The best was in Winslow Arizona at a place called falcons.
You went through New Mexico and you stopped in Santa Rosa? You poor dear. Second, you're not going to find good gravy until you get to Oklahoma.
I hope you tried our Green Chili ( it's like a spicy gravy we southwest peeps smother our burritos with) or the famous (food network ) Green Chili Sloppers in Pueblo, Colorado. So yummy!
Smother, not another
Damn watching this was weird, seeing as how i live in ABQ.
(thats the abbreviation for Albuquerque if you didn't know)
please get hiking poles, they will stabilize you and get less injuries to your ankles.
Chile is my ❤️
The rock formations look like the turrets of a French Chateau.
+Dralcoive for real!
Hi I love Mork and Mindy,
I'm surprised you didn't have a hard time breathing while you were hiking. We're (New Mexico) a higher elevation than many states. If you are used to sea level or lower elevations it can be a challenge.
Eric, you always seem to find the ant holes
Tge cinnamon role reminds me a bit if a dutch pastry called a bolus...sooooo good...and sweet and lots of sugar. I love it but don't get it much because of the amount of sugar
We're definitely adding this to our Albuquerque to-do list. The hike looked a lot like the fairy chimneys in Cappadocia. Have you guys been to Turkey yet? -Brian
Oh cool! We have not! But it's now added or OUR to-do list 😁
Lol that burrito needs a knife and fork. You could use sour cream to calm the fire or lemonade or ice tea
I use to live in santa fe but then I move to Californal
okay that's what erosion does too much lead soft rock fascinating
- 8:00 Am I the only one that things these things have an...odd shape to them? lol 😂
+Edges Of Earth nope, you're not the only one 😂
I'm from new Mexico santa fe
for some reason this video stood out from the crowd
+daisy jackson oh really? Any ideas why?
The Endless Adventure .nothing bad i just seemed to enjoy it more not that any of ur other vids are bad
+daisy jackson no worries, thanks for the info! Let us know if you come up with any specific ideas why, always love feedback!
Ya'll married? I like your vibes! subbbed ya! !
+Joey Norwood yep, and thanks!
+The Endless Adventure Please dont start pranking each other! ! I think People are sick of that! Just do you!
Been there, did you guys see bugs bunny when you were there?
🐇
Eric, you should go out and buy proper hiking shoes. You keep twisting your ankles climbing hills and rocks with shoes that are similar to keds. There is no ankle support there my man.
are you guys still in Albuquerque?? :)
+Jennifer Rose just left actually 😬
The Endless Adventure oh man 😭 that would have been cool if I met you guys. You're my favorite. Well, I hope you had fun and enjoyed the food. ☺
+Jennifer Rose snap, maybe next time!!
I wish I was able to move outta New Mexico, but I really do enjoy our food.
My nephew lives in Albuquerque. Point me in the direction
Why does Allison always drive?
Bro your to fresh
That food combo looks like it would make you feel terrible later. Nice brace, I twisted my ankle hiking down to the beach in El Salvador, and caused us to just skip Honduras 😡 (everything we planned there was hiking ). I need to get a good brace. I just wrap it now.
+The Traveling Together Journal yeah it definitely helps, but I still twist it even with it on! I need to get something industrial I guess 😂 sorry to hear it ruined your trip! That's no good 😬 - Eric
The Endless Adventure didn't ruin our trip we just ended up rushing on towards Nicaragua and after we hit Panama will turn around and have plenty of time to do Honduras later.
DO YOU GUYS KNOW WILLOW LUKE????!!!!!!!!!
+Icy Cakes sure do! She's our niece 😄 are you friends with her?
The Endless Adventure sure am
Awesome! She's a pretty rad gal 👍
We’re still part of the USA it’s still a cinnamon roll you don’t have to call it “sweet bread” we’re not some foreign land
Gaydar is off the charts on this dude.
Are you twelve?
@@leejohnson179 I know you are but what am I?
I was showing this video to 8 year olds. Awesome job on cursing. Maybe a disclaimer next time
Frontier? Really?
you made my thumbs yawn
Obama care...
