Cleveland weather: Snow chances in the weekend forecast for Northeast Ohio

Our attention shifts to this weekend's winter weather potential. Most models have a storm system taking shape in the Ohio Valley Saturday. Things are still left to be determined when it comes to detailing the storm's track, to further give insight on the precipitation type. For now, be prepared for wintery precipitation to arrive Saturday afternoon and last through the overnight.
Latest guidance want to keep things cool near the lakeshore, which would support a snowier outcome for the metro. If this plays out, a 1" - 4" snowfall would be possible. A shift to the north would include a chance for ice/sleet to mix in. Either way, impacts are likely if you have any Saturday evening plans. We will keep you updated.
