Lego Clone & Droid Battle Pack Alternate Build! (& Tutorial!)

- Hiya! Recently Lego Star Wars released a cool homage to their old 2008 Clone Trooper Battle Pack, along with a nice but ultimately underscaled Tri Droid, and a slightly basic looking speeder bike. Because of this, I was interested to try an alternate build using these vehicles, but keep the really cool-looking STAP for the Battle Droids! I hope you like the build, and remember there's a tutorial at the end! :)

for anyone reading this - It only takes 1 kit - you still end up with 3 vehicles if you keep the antennas from the alt build, including the fully OG droid speeder and a slightly dumbed down clone speeder. I legit give it a 10/10, after the alteration you get all this from the single set: original droid on a speeder with gun on its back, 2 clone troopers on a slightly dumbed speed bike with dual rear facing guns, A clone trooper on an at-rt with 2 cannons and 2 rear guns, a droid on it's own with a gun, 3 battle droids, and a shock trooper with binoculars a gun and a mini-launcher.
So after building the atrt in the vid we still have 3 vehicles? Is there instructions for the dumbed down speeder?

For anybody wondering how to tighten the legs it will require 2 pieces from your own legos they could be any color but grey is perfered it’s the 1x2 legos with the technic stick hole so replace those with the two bricks connecting the legs and although the space between the legs will be shorter it could do way more poses and be stable for play 😄

There's a really good spider droid build alongside a different speeder design for the clones. I forgot the name, but you can find it when you search for Clone and Droid battle pack alt builds. Even better is that both only need one set.
You should make a video on what to do with the extra pieces from this build
Thanks a lot for this, I bought a second set just for this. I modded 1 little thing to "trap" the cockpit so it don't fall forward too much (needed extra part from my bin). This was very fun! It's my first SW moc :)

fun fact if you put stud shooters at the bottom of the shields 4:46 it makes the set look ten times better

hey bro the tri droid is correct scale, it's the smaller one you don't see much in the clone wars
I bought these 2 packs just for your build! They look great as at-te escort. Also, you can use round brick mounted under one feet, to make them look like it moving, without loosing stability ✌️

On number 20, how do I keep the legs together? I see black pins, but I don't know how to put them.
step 21 explains it you basically want to do step 21 then do step 20,you put the 2 grey pieces onto the little grey stick thing facing opposite directions then put the light grey 1x2 with/ Studs on 1 side piece after

step 21 shows you have to push the flick fire missile tail through the pieces to attach them :)

I built this alternative set but I didn’t like because the legs were always so wobbly and the top part was fragile. So didn’t like it😞💀

just one - I just did it - If you don't do the antennas on the back you can still make a speeder bike, too - so you still end up with 3 vehicles.

What's the problem? You probably built it wrong
@@TheBrixHub Mines loose too - so if you wanna use it for an action figure and play with it - it probs needs a lil alteration - as for a display it's 10/10. SO happy with it.
I am very disappointed in this build. It is flimsy and won’t stand still. The way it stands in the photo does not work. 2/10. Might as well build the original build.
