You got to love what happened after Autumn guessed "Tough Workout"...Vanna gesturing "Yes!", Pat saying "What?!?", then Vanna gesturing "Yes!" once more before giving what is known as a "High-V", like the cheerleader she once was back during her high school days in her native South Carolina.
Wow! What a moment! That's how you celebrate 30 years with one unforgettable moment. It's amazing, congratulations Autumn, you kick butt! $1,000,000 won! My favorite moment right here!
I watched it Thursday night and "HOT DAMN!" she won $1,000,000. That's the second Million Dollar Winner in 4 and half years on Wheel Of Fortune game show history.
Thanks WayoshiM as always for a great upload. I can't believe the letters she called, but it worked out. Also not only did she solve a tough puzzle, she came within a whisker of going to the 'I' instead of the 'N' on the bonus round wheel.
That was so close to clicking to the next card, and then she only pulled one extra letter, but still she nailed that puzzle. Amazing, it was meant to be for her.
GOD, what a great solve. I had "tough", but couldn't solve it (before she did). That "G-" at the end is almost always "GH" (given that you can eliminate "-ge" and "-gs". but that compound word at the end...WOW. What a great solve. She's obviously a Wheel watcher. THANKS FOR POSTING!!!
I'm with you on this. TOUGH seemed real easy to figure out, and given what letters couldn't be in the second word, WORKOUT was a little challenging but not too much so to figure out.
Pat's big "WHAT???" was truly amazing and hilarious at the same time. You could tell that it took a second for him to register that she had solved the puzzle correctly, as he had probably been preparing a speech to console her if she missed out on the million (which he knew she picked) As soon as I heard his exclamation of "WHAT???", I knew that she had to have won the million, given the incredible reaction from him. Funny enough, he sounds completely deadpan when he says she won the million.
Also, we watch Wheel of Fortune a lot... We all enjoy it. Pat almost ALWAYS says "talk it out"... I'd say at least 80% of the time he says that exact phrase.
same here. I take it she's the second person ever in the 30 years of wheel of fortune to actually win a cool $ 1 million. I wonder when and how long ago the first winner actually won.
Some people are naturally good at this kind of game. My daughter new the answer to "snow leopard" with nothing more than the E, N, and R... and she was 10 at the time. She naturally sees the words. This woman could have the same talent. However, the fact that she intends to spend all the money on a wedding? Wow... I hope she didn't really mean ALL the money on the wedding.
Hah she deserves that 1 million after guessing that puzzle basically instantly on her first guess. I was totally clueless. The guy controlling the board seemed stunned that she was able to even guess it that fast. Notice the delay from her answer and the noise meaning she got it right.
What an absolutely fantastic, exciting, & wonderful showing. Congratulations & happy Marriage! God Bless you all. What a thrill it is to share your excitement with you.
Being self-contained episodes, a switch in rotation could easily be done. Also, I believe viewership is not as high on a Friday (beginning of a weekend) as other days of the week. That's why Jeopardy! started beginning tournaments in the middle of the week than on a Monday.
What I like best on this show is that you never know what is going to happen. I have seen people with everything but one word filled in and they still can't solve it, and there are also people like this who pull a rabbit out of a hat.
Since "Wheel", like most daytime non-news shows, is taped weeks in advance. I'm sure they could play around with the timing of when this episode gets played. Remember there are no returning champions anymore. so they don't have to show episodes "in order" of taping, unlike Jeopardy or Family Feud. It would behove them to do this in sweeps week. Plus the tie-in with the Millionaire Maker promotion were outside the taping of the show so they could be put it any episode.
It was actually around the time of the tornadoes in Oklahoma. I live in Tulsa (hour in a half away from the Moore tornadoes that ripped through the town).
this is interesting. the show is Celebraating it's 30th anniversary, the theme for that week was "30" she waas on that week because she wqas 30, and part of her winnings had the # 30 in it. talk about coincedences.
I had the gut feeling about her winning when she picked up the Million Dollar Sign from the big wheel. When she spun the bonus wheel went to N I had a feeling the Million Dollar Card be there. She also had 4 letters to work with also. Also she won 2 trips!
Everytime i watch this and someone takes the million to the Bonus I want them to win because its so rare that they do. In fact it was almost a 5 year gap between the last Million dollar win and this one. In fact its the only Two that have won the Million.
And she is still the biggest winner. No one has won the million since Sarah from 2014! I hope we have another one soon! And I have never seen a million dollar winner live!
Speaking from experience Its huge, she will walk away with ABOUT 600,000. Still not bad for a few mins of standing, spinning a giant wheel, saying a few words.
Maybe the show was prerecordered and they happened to play it on the anniversary date as all the shows might not be broadcast in the sequence in which they are recorded. They film several of these in the same day and for many weeks or few months at a time and then replay them later.
Lol why do people have to think this is staged? It's only the second time this has happened, and it is possible to figure a puzzle out like that. Anyway, congrats to her!
Right when the letters were about to come up, the local news came up with a "SEVERE WEATHER REPORT" and I didn't ven get to see her win I was so pissed.
Workout is the only word in the English language that follows the pattern _ _ R _ _ _ T and doesn't include any of SLNEMPAG. Not that that matters much. I just found that interesting. It was an amazing solve.
Sad thing about the Price is Right. If you win a car that was retailed for $25,000, you're taxed on it. So, pay a percentage of that car value to tax, or forfeit it. Same thing goes for other game shows also, like Wheel of Fortune.
This is an acceptable bonus puzzle. If you saw one the week before categorized as "Person" and was "Finicky Baby," that's a REALLY bad puzzle. The contestant only had a "N" and a "C" to work with.
Yes I saw the video too.
"High-V"
No, she's just raising her arms.
Gotta wonder if she is still engaged to that guy.
What's more impressive than the million dollars: that amazing puzzle solve. Seriously. One of the few puzzles I never would've gotten on the show.
Mrs. White has class. She is a class act. She always dresses sharp and her personality is charming.
Man, I can't believe this was 11 years ago!
I love how when she realized she won, she just started spinning around on the spot. Her mind couldn't process it, so it just went "SPIN!!". LOL
hhunhhnb
He's very happy, but makes the contestants the stars. It was deliberately understated.
Wow! What a moment! That's how you celebrate 30 years with one unforgettable moment. It's amazing, congratulations Autumn, you kick butt! $1,000,000 won! My favorite moment right here!

This was incredible! Finally someone won the MILLION! We wish her the best!:)
My life is now complete...finally saw someone win the million dollar prize lol
It was actually won almost 5 years before this one in 2008
Thanks WayoshiM as always for a great upload. I can't believe the letters she called, but it worked out. Also not only did she solve a tough puzzle, she came within a whisker of going to the 'I' instead of the 'N' on the bonus round wheel.
This is one of my all-time favorites.
The biggest winner in wheel's history and i don't think anybody can top that!
That was so close to clicking to the next card, and then she only pulled one extra letter, but still she nailed that puzzle. Amazing, it was meant to be for her.
CONGRATULATIONS, GIRL!
I'm genuinely happy for her! Love seeing people win huge prizes like this...
"How did you solve that puzzle!?"
- "Idk, cause I workout"
no thanks jeff
oh my god how do people like you make it through life? seriously good luck in life you will need it very much
Pat's reaction at 1:44 is PRICELESS!
1:44
After Taxes
Total money: $10 - Can by yourself 100 chicken nuggets. Congrats! ;)
I could watch this a million more times, she is just so amazing :)

Funny enough, he sounds completely deadpan when he says she won the million.
I did that once when I was little with no letters, watching with my Mom and brother, BAM called it..blew their minds!
Also, we watch Wheel of Fortune a lot... We all enjoy it. Pat almost ALWAYS says "talk it out"... I'd say at least 80% of the time he says that exact phrase.
Amazing puzzle solving skills and incredible luck. Good for her!
same here. I take it she's the second person ever in the 30 years of wheel of fortune to actually win a cool $ 1 million. I wonder when and how long ago the first winner actually won.
Nice to know good ole Pat Sajack is still hosting.
NICE
!! just heard the good news Girl. Your a pure example that good things happen to good people. God Bless
Some people are naturally good at this kind of game. My daughter new the answer to "snow leopard" with nothing more than the E, N, and R... and she was 10 at the time. She naturally sees the words. This woman could have the same talent.

I am as happy for her as if it were me. Congratulations.

Way to go! Congratulations.
i didn't know this show was still running after all these years!
I saw the episode! It was so epic! And... I'm watching this anyway.
What I like best on this show is that you never know what is going to happen. I have seen people with everything but one word filled in and they still can't solve it, and there are also people like this who pull a rabbit out of a hat.
If I was her I would be freaking out like CRAZY
This video and "What I Did All Weekend" are my two favorite
OMFG SHE IS SO DAYUM SMART i feel so happy for herrrr
Congrats Autumn.
Since "Wheel", like most daytime non-news shows, is taped weeks in advance. I'm sure they could play around with the timing of when this episode gets played. And that was really a difficult puzzle to solve. Good for her. Very Good!
It was actually around the time of the tornadoes in Oklahoma. I live in Tulsa (hour in a half away from the Moore tornadoes that ripped through the town).
Heeeey, I had this on my t.v. the other day, but I wasn't really paying attention. Didn't know this was so rare.
I bet. All of that makes so much sense.
I watched this on my TV 11 years ago.
This has to be one of the most subdued million dollar wins I have ever seen.
The Best $1,000,000 Celebration on Wheel of Fortune ever!!!
Can't wait to watch it again :D
It is scary how close the wheel came to landing on the envelope one past the one million
That's quite a leap for predicting the life of a complete stranger.
They just finished re-airing this episode!
Vanna is always so beautiful and charming!
This is absolutely amazing! Autumn did something right that day!
Congratulations!
this is interesting. the show is Celebraating it's 30th anniversary, the theme for that week was "30" she waas on that week because she wqas 30, and part of her winnings had the # 30 in it. talk about coincedences.

EXACTLY, it is so ovbvious. Anyone who does not realize it ,is totaly in denial
Never had this in years amazing
this show makes so much money i bet they could give a million out every episode and still BANK
Everytime i watch this and someone takes the million to the Bonus I want them to win because its so rare that they do. In fact it was almost a 5 year gap between the last Million dollar win and this one. In fact its the only Two that have won the Million.
Pat looked more like he was in shock than pissed off. Probably thought she likely wouldn't get it and couldn't believe she pulled it out.
She is now the biggest winner in Wheel of Fortune history
And she is still the biggest winner. No one has won the million since Sarah from 2014! I hope we have another one soon! And I have never seen a million dollar winner live!
4 1/2 years since the last...ABOUT TIME!!
She is incredible, they need to have a championship round whenever the next person wins $1 Million. Hopefully everyone's still around by then? Lol
Congratz!
This was an even shocking puzzle solving moment than that guy guessing the puzzle Gopher in a puzzle way back.
I'm impressed at stylish ASCII art in YT's limited comment space.
I watched this live on tv. I'm part of history!! Woot! Woot!
Autumn: TOUGH WORKOUT
Pat: What!?I am very impress.. Let me look.........We've got a Million Dollar WINNER
Pat's reaction is priceless
this just makes me happy!
Yay 1 million dollars! Paid out over the course of 40 years!
Even better we you see how close the wheel came to fall into the "I" slot
Speaking from experience Its huge, she will walk away with ABOUT 600,000. Still not bad for a few mins of standing, spinning a giant wheel, saying a few words.
My mom watches this show every day, and she can't believe she missed this.
That’s crazy that she missed it! She probably was busy! She could have watched it on RUclips later though
Thumbs up if you would be freaking out if you won a million dollars!
This video and "What I Did All Weekend" are my two favorite
She is so amazing :)
WOW omg...she gets a Million for the first time. LUCK HER
That's how it goes. She will still end up with probably 700 thousand or so. Either way it was a nice win
Well put, thank you
highest tax bracket is 35% and if you have a state income tax add only about 5%, so she'll pay less than 350,000 in taxes with deductions/exemptions
Maybe the show was prerecordered and they happened to play it on the anniversary date as all the shows might not be broadcast in the sequence in which they are recorded. They film several of these in the same day and for many weeks or few months at a time and then replay them later.

Anyway, congrats to her!
Smart Cookie! Good Going!
Right when the letters were about to come up, the local news came up with a "SEVERE WEATHER REPORT" and I didn't ven get to see her win I was so pissed.
All future contestants better call H in bonus round because lots of bonus puzzles have that letter and it helps a lot.
Ken Jennings studied well and he is very bright anyway. Anyone who thought it was rigged was jealous.
Workout is the only word in the English language that follows the pattern _ _ R _ _ _ T and doesn't include any of SLNEMPAG. Not that that matters much. I just found that interesting.
It was an amazing solve.
Pat has been around like 20+ years longer then regis was ever heard of.
ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!! And for the first time in nearly 5 years!!
Now it hasn’t happened in almost 10 years. I hope it happens again before Pat retires.
"Как это тебе повезло, моей невесте!" Завтра мы идем тратить все свои, все твои деньги..."
Good things appen to good people.
Good for her.
Pat is like this better not be coming out of my paycheck
And I forgot another shocking puzzle solving moment was the one letter solve.
Joey must be stoked
my jaw was literally hanging for 1:42 to the end of the video until my brother finally came in asked what was wrong.
Sad thing about the Price is Right.
If you win a car that was retailed for $25,000, you're taxed on it. So, pay a percentage of that car value to tax, or forfeit it. Same thing goes for other game shows also, like Wheel of Fortune.
awesome job i can't believe you won
