THIS IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. THESE GORGEOUS YOUNG WOMEN BLEND THEIR VOICES SO BEAUTIFULLY!! IT IS SO JAZZY, FAST AND IN SINC. I COULDN'T ASK FOR BETTER MUSIC THAN THIS TO WORK IN MY OFFICE. SINCE I DISCOVERED ANDREA, RITA, EVA AND MAGALI, JOSEP, IGNASI, ESTEVE AND JOAN I AM IN HEAVEN AND JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS FABULOUS MUSIC. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! SYLVIA - FL 09-30-2019
Something this good comes along once in a lifetime. They are a triumph...sheer joy....beautiful presence ....can't get enough. Chamarro....thank you for the opportunities you have given them to develop their raw talents....this is the best of what happens when they come together as accomplished musicians, working together as an ensemble, each one complimenting the others instead of a group of individuals who are out there to showcase themselves, and Joan Chamarro this is perhaps what makes you the genius that you are. The music world loves you and what you are doing to keep our optimistic view that jazz is very much alive in our day and age when most of the masters have gone upward and joined the greatest band of all.
Es la verdad, ellas tienen una manera muy especial de ser. Se ve q' se quieren y respetan, como Uds dicen. Y esta canción es p' Mi....uno de sus mejores temas. " Gracias Joan " un trabajo formidable..!
Wonderful to see these young ladies cutting a hot rendition of this classic. They are fabulous but its no accident, they have been playing and singing together for nearly 15 years. Thank you #JoanChamorro
And they seem to be having a ball........ Laughing and smiling all over the place...... That's how it should be......no wonder they are so good........Thanks for the post.
O Mi God!!!!! Les Paul and Mary Ford when i was their age! This is SO BLOODY GREAT! Mucho gracias, Joan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Les Double Six, the Swingle Singers! Terraza, Joan, Josep, Pi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE NEED MANY MORE OF THESE, JOAN. Lambert Hendricks and Ross too!🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇 AND ONE MORE: can they sing the Woody Herman's Four Brothers sax parts in that arrangement. THEY WOULD BE GOLDEN.
I like to think Ella Fitzgerald was smiling down from above at these incredibly talented girls that night, as they carried on the tradition. The precision of their 4-part scat section is PERFECT! The gorgeous Magali especially looks like she was having a ball, but they all exude so much freshness and energy into traditional jazz, it's wonderful.
A good band may have a fabulous singer. A fortunate band may have even two fabulous singers. No other band, besides "The Magic of the Voice" has four uniquely individual top-class singers! Love!!
This is just the "oldest" generation. Two more to follow until now: Alba+Alba+Elia+Joana (Abril not as a footnote) plus Claudia following suite just now...
This brought tears of joy to my eyes! It is so good to see these ladies doing stuff that puts most males to shame! Wow! And they are from Spain the land of flamenco and bull fighting...and now JAZZ! Brilliant performance! Who is this guy Joan Chamarro who has created this beautiful group of musicians out of little kids and now adult stars. Wow! I tip my hat to him for his work. He has done Spain and the world a big favor.
These four incredibly talented girls gives hope for Jazz to survive. But, and this in itself is unbelievable, that this revival is happening in Barcelona. Fantastic and remarkable rendition of this all American classic. Enjoy this fabulous foursome of marvellous young Jazz (songstresses) performances. Enjoy and Cheers!
I can't say any more than these comments from the admirers below. I really don't know what to say . . . There's only one man to blame - JoanC. He's an incredible musician developing these young beautiful and talented ladies. I give a 'big credit' to JoanC and all his musicians, not to mention the incredible Pianist, guitarist, drums. Very, very nice, beautiful and incredible group of musicians playing jazz music - my very favorite kind of music.
Andrea Motis, Rita Payés, Eva Fernandez e Magali Datzira: vocês estão brilhando mais do que nunca nesse conjunto de ponta do Joan Chamorro que é um descobridor nato de talentos. Viva Chamorro!
What a great arrangement and Les Paul and Mary Ford would be proud of them. It is great to see and hear young people keeping the classic standards alive and these girls are ever so talented. THANKS!!!
These ladies are used to playing brass band instruments, in great harmony arrangements from home and all over! I wouldn't be surprised, if they devised the harmony on their own . Les Paul and Mary Ford did this number and the vocal harmony parts were all done by Mary alone! It seems that this is the groups tribute to Mary Ford. You can bet that these girls know all about what I have mentioned about Mary Ford!
Thank you for your great job: your school is a real forge of talented voices and musicians. I can't 100% understand technically complicated music (still working on Genesis and Yes...) , but trying to learn music I've failed enough to recognize that reaching that level means a LOT OF WORK, SACRIFICES, and sometimes some frustration. So many many may compliments. I liked the way the lady on contrabass kept her eyes on the red pants singer to reach a perfect sincro with her during solo. But most of all my poor tiny ❤️ is for Rita: I love the way she sings , the way she moves and (Wow) the way she smiles when she's on stage, that means she's happy singing and playing. She's an Angel in Jazz.
"How High the Moon" is a jazz standard with lyrics by Nancy Hamilton and music by Morgan Lewis. It was first featured in the 1940 Broadway revue Two for the Show.
I just want to see them before I die. PLEASE COME TO SOUTHERN U.S.A. All these girls in one place and at such a young age. They must have learned from a really fantastic instructor. (Joan)

Four gorgeous women with beautiful voices singing classic jazz songs...what more can you ask for!!! Thank you.
They're talented musicians too...Rita( Trombone), Andrea( sax, trumpet), Magali ( bass) and Eva ( sax ).

And, let's be honest, they all look great from behind, too.
@@garryberman894 nobody wants to be sexually objectified when they came out to sing lol
Such a young age can understand the music to deliver to this level .. AMAZING.
Love the vocals! Then the scat- oh Bird!! The piano-drum breaks so tight! Great rendition!👏🏼👏🏼💐

I’ve never heard scating in four part harmony, quite impressive…
Swingle singers?
It's basically Ornithology that they're singing. It's a great option for adding a little bop to How High The Moon.
