Love this so much I’m 17 and looking to go to college for social work and psychology to become a clinical social worker, all I see is videos of people putting social work down and bashing it , it really discourages me... but it’s so refreshing to see a video like this🤗💗💗

Thank you so much for making this video💛 I'm about to enter my senior year and have been feeling very lost on what direction I want to go (psych major aswell). I was looking at different grad programs and noticed how diverse the msw track was and I think I might choose to go that route.

Yeah I totally get what you mean! I love the social work program because it focuses on outside systems and how environments impact the individual, best of luck to you 💕 I definitely recommend social work!

I'm super freaked out that I'm going back to school haha! Like none of my classes transfer to my new degree, so I have to start basically from scratch, plus one of my transcripts shows an F on a class that I'm 99% sure I never took (they show me taking a math class 2 years after I dropped out and I'm like... I did what now??) Haha. My parents are Scientologists, so they think psychology is evil and the downfall of socieity, and they're extremists, so they think Social Work is against America. I haven't told them what I'm going to be majoring in yet. Or even that I'm going back to school. I want to tell them diplomatically, but it may not matter. Haha. I keep telling myself that it's my life, not theirs, but it's still difficult, even at my age. Heck. I've been on disability for mental health for years, and I never told them that either, because of their own stigmas! Anyway! Thank you for your response and answering my question! 💕💕💕
