- If my camera work didn't ruin it for you, and you appreciated me uploading it, contribute (if you can spare) a buck or two. I make no money from views, all add revenue goes to the acts. I wonder who does get the money though. The artist or the record companies? The artist owns the 'author' rights and typically the record company owns the 'mechanical recording' rights. But they didn't record it... I did.
paypal.me/Willi... It may interest you that donations of $20 or more gain access a link for the fully uncompressed version, typically 13 GB/hr or $10 gets you a 2 GB/hr version, (RUclips versions are crunched 10:1 or about 250 Mb/hr) Some are reformatted to 16X9 like the version posted here. All donations are provided with a link to a comprehensive spreadsheet itemizing extensive details of the William G channel videos.

In my personal estimation Peter Frampton is among the most talented musicians and performers that ever lived.
Glad to see he was voted into the Rock N Roll hall of fame!!
Peter Frampton's guitar playing is way way underrated. Peter has a very soulful sound. He makes the guitar talk. Cool, very cool to say the least.
I think he sounds great here... One of the very few times he's ever played "I'm in you". Don't think he was too proud of that album....but great version though. Love that he did "the lodger". "More ways then one" was great. You're watching a living legend of music here...RIP BOB MAYO.
Amazing and Bob surprised me with that I'm in you solo as well
Saw Peter March 2024 and have been looking on RUclips and found this gem. Saw him first form in 1976 and so not know why I wanted so long to see him again! Still soooo good!
One of the best live versions of "Do You Feel Like We Do" outside of the original. Peter Frampton is an amazing guitarist and outstanding live performer. At his best. Love Bob Mayo (RIP). Glad I found this video.
I’m proud to say I do a Peter Frampton tribute show in New England
We mostly do Comes Alive top to bottom
But I’m going to add some of these wonderful songs to the set that I’m not as familiar with
What a gracious guy he tweeted us once and asked if we needed any tips and that he was honored that we would pay him tribute . I was speechless
Love you Peter 🎉
Awesome show! The great John Regan on bass there behind Peter. Oh if we could only go back in time and relive the glory days of real music.
What an incredible performer and a vocalist!
God, he is absolutely flying here. The voice is so smooth too - brilliant performance! Look at the enjoyment level; classic line-up. Thanks for posting this!
Ole Pete was firing on all cylinders here!
I was 11 when Frampton Comes Alive came out...still have it today. Such a talent to this day! Always a fan. Prayers to Peter with his health. I can deeply understand...I recently lost my legs to necrotizing faciiatus and his recent words on his condition resognat...it's not life threatening but life changing ring so true. Keep on rockin Peter !
Saw Frampton w/Stevie Nicks in 1986 at a small show in Portland, Maine. Great concert. Rock A Little Tour 1986.
Peter has been fantastic since The Herd! He is an extraordinary musician and my guitar hero. Keep fighting Peter!
I saw him on this tour at a small venue in Southern California called the Coach House (which is still there). As MCM37 said, he had just started touting again and his energy, along with the energy of the audience, made for an incredible show!
Falta palavras para descrever,a personalidade, de um, ícone que, da a graça de movimentar, alegria contagiante, distribuindo emoções, incomparável.
Esse é Peter Frampton.
Peter Frampton's usage of the Dorian and minor scales here are etched in my brain from when I was a child.
One dislike, wow! Too soon. By far it's not his best period, but musically he's always at the top. And still is.
This footage is so awesome and the sound is great too!! :D thank you for this awesome video. Peter deserves so much more credit than he gets , beautiful singer and lovely guitar player + his facial expressions are always so adorable :p.
👏👏👏👏👏 💔
Thank you so much for posting this ... This is a wonderful show. I saw him perform in a tiny club in Manhattan around this time ... he had just started touring again and he was energetic and the crowd loved it. There were no seats in the theater so we had to stand the entire time but it was worth every second of it. He was wearing a similar black outfit with the high pony tail that was in for a while at that time. I remember there was an opening act and when he came out I didn't recognize him at first ... he was playing the Pensa Suhr guitar that he is using in this video and not his black Les Paul. Once he started singing and I heard his guitar soloing I knew it was him. I remember him saying "How 'bout an acoustic set?" and then he sat on a bar stool and played the acoustic songs that he played here. It was great and it was the beginning of what turned out to be wonderful comeback for him.
I was there my friend. He'd been away for a bit, so EVERYONE was excited------as was he!
Fabulous footage from this overlooked period. Thanks so much for posting. Real music is so need today. Mr Frampton is simply amazing then and now.

Such a beautiful and amazing man❤
"When I arrived at my FIRST GIG with Frampton...NO SOUND CHECK...jumped right onstage. and found out that Jamie Oldaker was playing Drums....I was BLOWN AWAY!!! I had been such an admirer of his playing over the years with Bob Seeger, Leon Russell, and of course Clapton., and NOW getting to be in a section with him was beyond words. We became fast friends, and had the pleasure of playing together behind Stephen Stills, Dave Edmunds, and of course Ace Frehley...as well as many others. To this day, I treasure our Friendship, and the feeling of playing Bass with Jamie "Drivin" the Bus"...Indescribable!"~ John Regan
You were a Class Act John RIP.
He's the best! Thaks for sharing!
I was in attendance at the Ritz gig in NYC - same setlist, incredible show. Great that he snuck The Lodger in there for this run. As a kid in the 70s who came of age in the 80s, I was listening to him since FCA and saw him on TV in the late 70s but didn't get to experience a live Frampton show until he went on this tour. It was a long time to wait so when he hit the stage (with Bob Mayo in tow no less!) it was really freakin' surreal. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for this - all material is significant in PF history. FWIW the official Live In Detroit 2000 concert is so much better musically.
Thank you for this great upload William! As a Bay Area resident, and HUGE Frampton fan I count myself VERY lucky to be in the audience in San Francisco when Peter recorded "Frampton Comes Alive II". As another commenter mentioned below, this was a bit of a "dark and forgotten" period for Peter, but his voice and guitar playing have continually improved since the 1970's like a fine wine aging in the bottle ♫ I just realized, I'm watching this on 3/16/2021... :)
I was at that show, too..they did three nights and I went to two. A lot of new material that wasn't on any albums, it was great!
A little late to the party. Bay Area guy here too--the first time I saw Frampton was at Winterland opening for the Doobies in '74. What an exceptional show! Didn't even know who he was at the time---somebody mentioned look out for this Frampton dude, he is going to blow the Doobies off of the stage. His soloing was just so melodic, sweet and raw! The first time I ever got my ears baked by Marshalls, can't think of a better guitarist to be listening to for that occasion. He is sounding so good on this--nothing like that Frampton magic! Thanks so much William for uploading this!
Gracias, me gustó mucho. I love You Peter y a toda la Banda.

Thanks for posting this. First saw him in 1976 in Grand Rapids Michigan. Was not able to see this tour in 1992 at The Orbit Room in Grand Rapids but have seen him several times after that.
Wow... seen him many times but never heard "The Lodger" played like this. Thanks, Great Frampton concert.
Awesome concert ! I had never seen it before .
Wow
This is such a great concert
This kicks much ass! Caught the ‘92 tour when the fellas stopped in Portland, OR. Had not seen PF since the ‘82 tour, so I was long overdue for a Frampton fix. Thanks for the upload! 👍🏻😎
Back when he still had hair, Frampton is one of the best guitarist in the world
I bet he wasn’t too happy about watching his awesome blonde hair slowly erode away into total baldness on top. 😫😢
Great stuff.
Would love to see Peter Come back to CT before he retires, saw him 2 years ago ? at Foxwoods casino with Stever Miller .
Cool! Thanks for posting this!
Thanks so much for sharing this. The camera work was actually great, IMO. My only criticism would be the video is lagging the audio by a few milliseconds. Peter and the band was great, as usual.
Such a humble soul
I was there!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤simply the BEST
❤ maravilhoso 😍

Yes!!
Maravilhoso 😍
Cool
Meu Deus o Peter é a cara do Ciro Bottini......
Does people never shut their mouth up? Is something I've never understood. Maybe it's their way to respect the musician.
Very annoying! But he handled it like a gentleman.
Was this at the Diamond? I was there!
Phonenix
@@LucidVideoGuy Phoenix was called the Diamond. Thought it was still the Diamond when I saw concert but it changed in 91.
@@patrickpelow227 That’s right.
Is it true he is not in Rock n Roll HOF ? If so Why Not????
Do you have any Ronnie Montrose shows please let me know great job
Sorry, no.
To chile plis
Anyone know what kind of guitar peter using here thanks
It was a Pensa Suhr. I think it was destroyed in the Nashville flood of 2010:

A Pensa Suhr.
Yes Pensa Shura. It was ruined in the Nashville flood and auctioned off. Unrepairable.
Rest in Peace Jamie Oldaker, Thank you for the music. September 5, 1951~ July 16, 2020
No No No!! Earring and a pony tail?!!!
HA! This was a thing even the Wall Street guys were doing. There was this transition from the 80s to the 90s were the look was odd, like when the dudes from the 70s bobbed their hair strangely going into the 80s. Do you know what I mean?
Still gorgeous
As an artist, I find you asking for money and not sharing royalties is downright criminal. Ask Michael Anthony from Van Halen.
